The next preview for Metal Gear Doom. This is mainly a demo for the VR missions.
Re-release of the old files. Next version should include new content.

Heya. Loving the enthusiasm for the project. It's always cool to see people play it their own way and is a big part of why I won't be adding many weapons or items. I think letting players adjust how they go through the levels is very important to the experience.
I hope you enjoy the VR mission pack coming out this week.

Hey . How you got the enemies to patrol ? Could that be transformed into a universal mod which lets all monsters patrol ? Or Did you have to make it for every enemy by hand ?
It's done manually in doombuilder. It's fairly easy to do, just takes a bit of time.
Also . Is there a chance you can implement the alarm feature in your mod ? So that when enemies wake up , the sound and music plays ?
Maybe it's possible but it isn't really the goal of the project. This is just a metal gear themed map pack that should be balanced around the base game of Doom. (Although it's cool to see people play it their own way.)

Hey . The new demo . Its for me just a hallway with 4 doors and extruding rooms on the left and the small window showing the first area . Is that what it should be ?
you should have the option to play the VR missions instead of the main level from the episode select screen. I'll take a look in a bit and see what's up since maybe it works in GZdoom and not other sourceports

If you are interested , I have a YouTube channel with about 1400 doom modcombo videos . And a discord server + 3 telegram chats ,all centered around doom and mobile gaming . I'd love to welcome you there . We have only a few members . But a few famous modders are there and they all get a role for the mod section .
Also . The reason I asked the patrol thing . Doom really needs a mod which lets monsters patrol around . A universal one . I really hope someone creates one .
I mean . If raytracing AND fake Raytracing is possible ( PRBOOM rtx / relighting.pk3 ) then I am sure that patrol thing would be possible too . Even if it's crooks and sticks programming like a friend says often ;)
