looks beefy. Is it just a model change or have the stats been changed as well?
It's now a 2x2 turret instead of the old 1x1, so I'm guessing around 1.5x more damage at least.
Coupled either with lower armor and/or higher power consumption.
I'm guessing the latter.
Though more firepower is nice, the fact that it takes more space to be built is a bit worrying, in a way Skyray was more convenient due to the fact that it didn't take much space to be built... ^^;
Never liked the look of Skyray anyway tbh.

i ACTUALLY LIKE THE TURRET. i hope i will see a new release soon. this is the reason i did not uninstalled the game for at least a year
Oh my god, i never expected this infamous turret would be changed! ^w^ (much better now)
Maybe the Skyray will be as a campaign structure.
By the way, i remember the previous coordnode design, it was much better than the one we know.
Is it just me or do the crying beam effect look much better?
What is that strange-looking coordnode in the middle of the picture? Cryonode perhaps?
