Are these guys different factions? Cause that's a lot of cav for one faction.
If they are multiple factions, do they share some units? Cause otherwise, it could possibly feel like the bottom faction has fewer options.
One faction, three tiers.
Later tiers can have less units than the previous tiers, because:
1. Some units did not change much through the 300 years timeframe, so they don't upgrade in the mod.
2. Several units can have convergent upgrade to a single later tier unit.
I believe its tiers. Tier 1 is top, tier 3 is bottom
One faction, three tiers. Eastern factions, particularly arab factions, are well known for cav centered armies, while on the ither hand having infantry worse than that of western factions.

I always love the fact that EVERY Unit looks different. That really shows the detail the creators put into this mod.
I´m sorry to say... but the dude of the left upper corner is a very famous model, is used for assassins creed videogames.
