Legend:Farewell Edition is a heavily modified upgrade-remake of Hexen in a classic style, but with a darker and a much more aggressive atmosphere. Featuring almost twice the length of the game, revised and extended levels, more decorations, precision-refined gothic design, new weapons, enemies and effects, 6 characters, plenty of secret areas and even an expanded storyline with custom-made story arcs and endings for the DLC heroes. More action, more locations, more magic, more HEXEN!

Description

Yes, this Doomy-looking level has some cool music to match, and even cooler toys to play with. It has a rock-processing kinda vibe (obviously i was inspired by the immortal Quake-2).
So here I always envisioned that the plentiful artillery that exists in this level can somehow be turned to good use. And guess what? Now it can be! Due to the structural redesign - it can (and will) help you quite a bit to play some tower defense!

Then, my next idea was to do something interesting with those floor spikes... Again, how about impaling enemies on them while you play cat & mouse through the dark corridors?! Well, don't run too fast...or someone might get skewered.

And why do the things in the game only crush you? Hell no, let's crush THEM!! So add a big crusher toy in a giant hall (and some more secrets) - and we've got a level that i really enjoyed test-playing several times in a row!
