Legend:Farewell Edition is a heavily modified upgrade-remake of Hexen in a classic style, but with a darker and a much more aggressive atmosphere. Featuring almost twice the length of the game, revised and extended levels, more decorations, precision-refined gothic design, new weapons, enemies and effects, 6 characters, plenty of secret areas and even an expanded storyline with custom-made story arcs and endings for the DLC heroes. More action, more locations, more magic, more HEXEN!
The Shrine of Fire (ex-Guardian of Fire) is a smashing remake of the original's "Halls of Boredom", and this level is present in the demo, although the demo has some balance issues in the second part of the level...
Baratus' Fire Sword is both the first weapon, and the ultimate one as well. By finding the shards of an enchanted crystal, - it becomes possible to unleash devastating ranged attacks with this weapon.
Unlike the demo, the final version of this sword is far more powerful at the melee range, and the bug pertaining to its charged attack - has been solved.
