Legend:Farewell Edition is a heavily modified upgrade-remake of Hexen in a classic style, but with a darker and a much more aggressive atmosphere. Featuring almost twice the length of the game, revised and extended levels, more decorations, precision-refined gothic design, new weapons, enemies and effects, 6 characters, plenty of secret areas and even an expanded storyline with custom-made story arcs and endings for the DLC heroes. More action, more locations, more magic, more HEXEN!
"Hammer! Bow! Axe and Sword! The weapons of the Gods!" - yes, just like the metal song goes. (it is by the band "Wizard", in case you wondered) It is one of my favorite songs for a very long time, and this is a direct reference to it.
At this particular point of DeathWind Chapel - you find the Axe, Hammer and Sword, while not far from this place, a carving of the Bow can be located as well, so there you go. Now go and youtube this kickass song, hehe.
Legend-9 has many hidden references and easter eggs, with at least three - coming directly from the realms of Heavy Metal. There is an allusion to both of my favorite bands, somewhere in this remade world of Hexen ;-)
