Love that you re making this mod so much good, and that you value our opinion so bad. i like what you did with the mod, like the changes, the balance, and still i have some opinion about things are right now. i played your last version on an default maP(not custom) and experienced no CTD. a map with 4 players, 2 ai's at hard and one at normal level with a hard ai being traveler 59. they were acting normal, tough and provided me a challenge when i played with gdi. however with nod playing it was easy to beat them because i noticed they dont build much antiair defence and venoms are a bit too powerfull in your mod(high damage), usually its my favorite strategy to swarm with them but in their current state i could destroy anything even aa, although there werent and build them fast enough to recover my tiny losses. also noticed that banshee are really powerfull and i recommend to at least make them weaker armor.

About the poll, i dont know what to say, yet, i need to keep testing and experience CTD to know what to recommend.

AI behavior can be quite random, mostly on official maps which may have some scripts in place for it,

I assume that in an unscripted custom map it could go more wild but I've never looked on all of EA maps too much to confirmed that.

I don't think I've touched the Nod's Venoms laser damage too, but what I do know is that the AI cheat its way and change some parameters to some degree, so maybe the Venoms only look tougher cause the AI use them.

The CTDs seems to mostly occurs on random custom maps, but from my tests so far it seem like it have nothing to do with the map itself and more about how the AI behave there.

I would just nerf the support powers. Traveler tends to rely on Mechapedes for heavy assault.

The main thing that intriguing me is if it was intentional or was some EA oversight 🤔

Travelers' AI code had two things that none of the other factions have, an insane high focus on the Mechapedes production (500%, the highest num I've seen so far was 450% and that was for the darn Slingshots lol ),
And no entry to product epic unit at all (It can still train one ofc, but as long as it don't have that code line it just won't be a priority),

Since Trav don't lack their main tier 3 assault unit (Tripod) I've found it quite weird for them to have such a vast focus on Mechapedes, you could've think that it's an attempt to make them use a cheaper ground force in the favor of using aircraft, but Mechapedes are actually more expensives thx to their segments so...

Maybe back when the game was still in devlopment EA wanted Trav's lore to heavily involves the Mechapedes in it, who knows.

well their tripods don't have shields or the conversion beam that the other 2 forms of tripods have so might have had something to do with that as well
