So I was wondering if replacing the Black hand's commandos with commandos that have snipers instead will be a good idea?
I kinda like how we got two commandoes with 3 ranks, but I also feel like we could've give them some more spice,
I don't sure if it fit the BH's theme though cause they hate stealth and sniper is a bit more like sneaky attack (though not always stealthy one)
So as I'm always saying (that actually the first time) when your mind is uncool open a poll, right? right? ^^
So what you think I should do with the BH's commandos?
1. Replace the BH's commando with sniper commando, (She still be pretty much the same but with longer range and no stealth).
2. replace only one of them and leave the second one as she was (She will have her own icon next to the first commando or will come from the secret shrine though).
3. Replace the commando but make it so we can train only one that will be a bit more powerful than the average commando.
4. What are you nuts? BH don't need snipers! they all about "Close and personal" approach!

Why dont you give two commandos. The first Commando is close and personal with the default weapon an ability to switch weapon that is good against strutures.
The second commando has a sniper rifle that is very good against veicules and an ability that allows him to call an airstrike of vertigos on area.
Its just an idea.. I thought it would be a good idea to make both be like a team which are good at an area and that they complement eachother so that they cant live seperated
It very nice idea, but part of me feels that it stray a bit from the role the commando have to a less obvious one,
I'm also not sure if people will like to have two commando units who need to rely on each other (though that what RTS is mostly about tbh xP),
And BH don't really rely on air superiority, I did gave them a Venom in this mod but it was only so they can counter some situations where Scrin's drone runaway into the water and BH have nothing to do against it, that also why that venom is anti air only, expensive, and only have one air tower, so that players will be less encouraged to use it unless they really need to.

Hmm, afaik, BH are special covert forces (at least it was so before TW), I guess that sniper would make more sense rather than a ginger woman with a blaster aka Han Solo incarnate,lmao.
Also C&C Renegade had suth units and BH Snipers and they were pretty badass, so go for sniper!
I also was mostly inspired by other TW's and Renegade's mods to add a sniper unit to the Nod faction, cause in some of them (the mods or games) Nod had one, it really more fit for BH than any other faction though and their default commandos look like some lazy rip off rather than somethings special (though hell, two commandoes can devastate a base)
Give her flamethrower. Would fit BH
While it nice in concept, it actually sound less good when it come to the final result, mostly due to two aspects:
Realism:
While TW never really was the most realistic game and never aim to be one, some elements it had made a lot of sense if we take a closer look, Flame tank and Purfire for example can both use flame weapons yet they have different size, armor, health points, speed, and ofc role,
But we can more or less tell it by the way they look alone despite both having a flamethrower, if we give to a commando a flamethrower she will look like yet another flame weapon unit rather than something that is superior to the BH squad, it also going to make less sense to make her look like that when she is meant to be a fast unit, while it possible to make her sprint with one or two flame tubes on her back it going to look funny.
Gameplay:
In TW/KW flame is good against inf and structures, something the commando is already good at and in my mod she also place c4 on vehicles so blue flame not really needed too,
While flamethrowers are more slower and need a closer range, the default commandos isn't, And sniper will have even more range,
So I see less reason to go for flamethrowers in her case, sure it cool idea but make less sense in term of gameplay and look.

Black hand is one of the most powerful organizations in Brotherhood.
So I think a sniper commando(or kind of) is very fits Black hand theme.
an sniper commando would be awesome! but i hope the model is an nod black soldier style (new model) with sniper rifle instead of a red dressed chick! also i see no reason for removing the stealth! an sniper NEED to be stealth! if its due to EA stupid remake of black hand, then to hell with EA stupid remakes!
I'd go with option 1. Since the stealth ability has been one of the Nod commando trademark features in TW and KW, but the ability been stripped from Black Hand commandos, it would only be fair to have a decent compensation.
Also, I like the idea of having two commandos simultaneously, so I'd be saving the ability to train two of them. Would give the opponent a reasonable challenge.
take away stealth and give her an umbrella that protects against air attacks and artillery :p
jk. i dislike the usual infantry-massacring building-demolishing glass cannon commandos of C&C and i would be happy to see something different.
Will be funny if I'll add strike ability instead of C4 that will call for few digging recks who will bury the structure from beneath, but that may look buggy and kinda funny too

I am kind of hoping replacing all GDI commandos (mainly Gdi and Zocom) with sniper because they are quite weapon duplication of NOD commandos only different in graphics. But I vote for your sniper option since commandos need variation and a long heavy gun more suits anime females rather a famous double hand-guns old lady...
And that sharp high heel gets her leg hurts....
Why not have some synergy, like one is default, another is anti-materiel rifle long range armor wrecker?
Oh, like laser sniper that can kill tanks from afar?
If they weren't black hand I would've thought on give them an air strike xP (though it less fit for Nod's style)
