Wouldn't an upward arch be better? Given that's where the energy orb is. Good work regardless.
I can do that, but I thought it be cooler to use the animation since it also got some stinger on its bottom rear part
maybe the bottom attack could be part of a special active-ability?

By active-ability did you referred to give it an ability button or to make it as a secondey weapon / to a SC2 like ability where it always active and shot randomlly? ;o
