Kane's Wrath Unofficial Big Bang Patch 1.04 is a mod that adds few new things and tries to balances the game a bit more from my and the community ideas while at the same time also tries to save the most import ingredient at bay: The "fun".

I came up with an idea for a new Steel Talons unit, one I'd like to call Steel APC . It would be basically an aberration or modification of ye goode ole [sic] Guardian APC, while replacing MG with grenade shooting turret and adding ability of stealth detection, whilst retaining mine-laying ability. After all, the entire idea of ST is an experimental combat-engineering division, thus a vehicle with garrison-clearing and both mine-clearing / mine-laying ability would be more than suitable idea of technical development or continuum, especially in urban warfare conditions with multiple chokepoints that can be laden with land mines.

And with upgrades, I have two ideas:

  • Additional rail gun upgrade for Hammerhead. Wouldn't replace the MGs, but installs two railguns that are similar to the ones used by Zone Troopers). After all, being a unit of experimental tech, the ST needs something unique for their air weaponry and credible self defense capability against enemy AA-guns.
  • AP ammo for Steel Troopers. I love the entire idea of these jump-jetters with their ability to literally crush the enemy unit with simply landing on them, yet the AP ammo would be reasonable upgrade since they are still wielding MGs, right? Just don't tell me you have rejected the idea.

That's all I can think of. Browsing through all the info you have given us, and the pics you have shared with us about project's development, I can't but admire such dedication and skills of graphic design you have. I'm not much of modding, in fact I'm bloody lousy when it comes to such. Should I have any basic coding skills, or comprehension of anything alike, I'd try myself.
