Very nice mod thus far, I overall enjoy it. But...I would enjoy it a lot more if not for some strange thing about this mod that I've never seen in any other Med2 mod I've played: nonsensical levels of unrest/public disorder.
I'm playing as the Jurchens and whenever I capture an enemy Ming settlement, no matter if I occupy, sack or even exterminate it, there is a huuuge percentage of fixed unrest in the 190 %. And I say "fixed", because no matter how many turns pass it won't drop. EVEN in castles/fortresses. It makes things very difficult since I have to maintain nearly a full stack of troops as garrison (tanking my economy) and/or drop the tax rate to the lowest possible. And it still in some cases leave me with a yellow face instead of green.
What seems to be the issue here? Am I the only one? Tried it even on Normal/Normal.
A few months late but I figured out the problem, and how to solve it. Go into "mods\Imjin_War_of_Korea\data" and find "descr_rebel_factions.txt". Open it and right near the top there should be the lines:
rebel_type gladiator_uprising
category gladiator_revolt
chance 100
description gladiator_uprising
unit Highlanders
Change that 100 to 3 and the unrest in Ming and Ming Eastern Border Army cities after conquest will be the same as every other city in the mod.
The "chance" value determines the amount of unrest for a city that gets taken over when it has a specific type of rebel assigned to it, but the gladiator uprising set of rebels used that value differently in Rome since it wasn't a normal rebel type. The original creators of the mod forgot to change the value to the same as the rest of the rebel factions.

Hi Mate
Got an issue where I'm playing as the Great Ming.
I've conquered half of the East Ming City and Fortresses when they declared war on me.
Now the issue is no matter how long I've garrisoned an army for, or how many buildings I've built, I've constantly got 190% unrest in all the conquered East Ming cities. I literally have to garrison entire armies with a governor per city.
Is there a fix or something you guys have by any chance?
use monks to convert city
Here's a response I left for someone else.
