The storyline behind Hyperion wears us to far away future where human beings left their home planet due a cataclism and try to find another one to get established. Unfortunaly the nearest habitable planet was at million years light.

So to try to arrive and transport all mankind, the most brilliants minds development a tecnology to keep human beings into hypersleep and build a colossal spaceship called Hyperion.

During their cosmic journey Hyperion's IA detect a multidimensional collision, the breach didn't the only thing that was detected, Suddenly appears the presence of human beings awake.

IA compare their DNA with the one of DDBB and their result was that they humans beings doesn't have been cataloged, Where are they come from? What are they looking for?

Question: You mentioned a while back that you intend to upload v2.7 of Hyperion, it's been quite the while so I'm seeing that the last version listed under "Files" is v2.6. Is the final version still on your schedule of release? :)

Yes we're moving it as a new standalone game, with our own textures, sounds weapons enemies and other stuff.

Maybe we're going to change the name to avoid confussion between our game and the scifi books, but the idea would be the same... lovecraftian terror scifi futuristic spaceship etc...

Before to get started with this, i would like to release the last version of the mod 2.7, that fix several issues and have several improvements...

Hyperion was a satisfactory experiment, now prepare for something really crazy, beyond the limits of comprehension.

Incredible mod, but i find that sometimes the fps drops quite a bit in certain areas, somebody knows why?

Its due an excessive 3d floors/models/etc... Anyway try to use latest versions of gzdoom.

This mod is awesome. But there should be a little bit more ammo in level 3 though. I came up short and had to set infinity ammo in the gameplay options. But yeah overal awesome mod. monsters are a little bit stronger than in vanilla doom. you can clearly see what the replacements are and you see as well that the monsters are made stronger. pretty challenging mod on UV. But looking forward to the full release.

Hi first of all thanks for write your review and above for play it. Yes you're right i must increase ammunition in map03, in fact in next version (2.4) i have fixed it. I dont still release it cause im still including new stuff like maps, more monsters etc... also I'm restructuring the maps to make it as hub like hexen so as you can imagine next update it gonna be huge!
