My game crashes when I run into the bridge room location. What to do?
After a long time since I first played this, I got it fixed recently and played all the way through it.
The voice acting is absolute trash.
No one feels "into" their character, the quality is bad, and I absolutely hate it every single time a character refers to another by their "title", for lack of a better word.
Like, the wife calls her husband "husband" instead of his actual name. Same for brother. "Little brother" every single time. Seriously, dude? Give the characters names and have them call them by their names, this is absolutely not what people even do in real life. And the demon voices are just cringy as ****, listening to the demon daughter was AWFUL.
The grammar mistakes are really bad too and it's kind of a big reason I hate the voice acting.
Important Rule to Remember: If you don't speak a language fluently, DON'T make a custom story in that language.
I originally gave this a bad score (4/10) because the custom story just didn't work to begin with (monsters were missing and scenes weren't working properly), but I'm certainly not going to change it after seeing just how bad it really is.
I absolutely loved this custom story. I just finished it and it was an amazing horror experience, although I do wish there was a bit more in the last boss fight as it was quite easy to beat as all I had to do was hide from the monsters until the last phase which I then outran them, I would have loved more things chaotic going on with the environment as in the story the demon Baal has control over reality and can shape it however it wants. All in all, I loved the story element although the last boss fight was a bit lacking and I did come across a few bugs but all I had to do was load the last save which for me wasn't much of a problem.
Is it supposed to be silent when a monster is near, I mean that there is no danger music but if it is supposed to be silent, I don't mind it, it makes the game more scarier and you gotta be more careful not running into him. The atmoshphere in this cs is terrifying that's why I don't like long tunnels or hallways like in prison or sewers, I haven't finished the cs yet so I will rate it once I finish it. Peace

However, the hammer and chipper comination won't work for me anymore so I can't continue :*
There are two parts in the game you're combining a hammer and a chipper. Is it down in the Basement you can't combine it or is it during the second boss?
No one has ever report this bug and our beta tester said nothing about this "problem"
What I have learned from testing the custom story it matters wich version of Amnesia you do have. For example right now me and TeeZaah are working on Hunting Ground Aftergame, we build and script on TeeZaah computer (he has the STEAM version of Amnesia) and I tested the custom story on my computer (My Amnesia is a NON STEAM version) and I cam acrose ALOT of bugs and script errors and non of them was found on TeeZaah's computer. I uninstalled my version and bought the main game on steam and every bug was now gone on HGA on my computer.
What I am trying to say here is that if you have another version of Amnesia then what the makers had when they used creating there custom story and you play it, you can run into bugs when you play. I don't really know if this is the case and I can't find anything about it on frictionals website but the moment I installed the STEAM version of Amnesia the bugs that I prevesly experienced was now gone. I have watched 10-15 YouTubers play Hunting Ground Origin and non of them have come acrosse this script error with the hammer and chipper :/ Just so you know, me and TeeZaah used the STEAM version when we created HGO but that version may the one you also have. I don't know.
Okay, so I re-installed everything and even tried starting a new game.
I found out I got the wrong hammer, since I didn't use the first one it to break the wall and I tried combining them. Sigh. Okay it works with the right hammer.

It's at the second boss fight. The weirdest thing is, it's not the first time I'm playing this mod and never had issues, lol.
I have the Steam version of Amnesia, but maybe something went wrong with a full conversion or anything.
I'll try to delete all game files and re-install Amnesia. Hopefully this works. I'll let you know if this works, who knows if anyone else runs into this problem :)
Yes and just because you have the steam version you have the latest version of the game (1.3.1). Some full conversion can **** up with the main game, reinstall Amnesia :) Just because of that I always uninstall a full conversion mod when I've played it.
