Welcome to Cataclysm Remastered!
This mod is an effort to bring HW Cataclysm into the new Remastered engine and to the HWRM collection.
Currently includes multiplayer / player vs CPU as Somtaaw, Beast or any vanilla race. Campaign levels coming soon!
Most ship models are ported from the HWU HW2 mod, but some are modified HWRM models, or ported directly from Cataclysm.
Weapons & FX are a mix of HWU & HWRM.
Music / sounds are a direct port from Cataclysm.

With all the time that has passed, a new update for this mod is on the horizon. That would be the Phase 1 update. This update makes the multiplayer fully functional for the mod. Lots of our old classic models have been replaced with better, remastered ones. Below are some of the new ships that you will get to see.

Mate, what have I walked in on? This is so unnecessary. Not the mod that is. Anyhow, I never played cataclysm, but am excited to see your work mate, and after learning there is no remaster, well you're the only one who is putting in the work, so that's all there is and you've proven you are more dedicated to this than supposedly anyone. Please don't get offended by these strange people who attack for no reason. There are things we can change, and things we can't, you can't help that poor soul, and neither will an argument surmount to anything. Its what is called a low resolution problem, that's all the comments are, don't be discouraged. Sorry if this gets posted twice, I wasnt signed in.

I know a lot of you have supported this mod. I also am aware that many of you have grown impatient. I, alone, am working on threw different mods to keep the HW community alive and in good spirits. Several mods have died in my time doing mods and that's unacceptable. I am doing the best I can. Please try to keep your patience in me as I'm doing all that I'm able, while still maintaining a job and what-not. Thank you to those who have supported me. It's been 3 years now....where the hell is the mod at and why hasn't there been any news about this in a year now? Honestly I'm kinda sick of reading about mods on this website from people and expecting a mod and finding nothing being done or released or people putting mods on this website only to find out they're only for stupid steam versions.
If people are saying they're creating a mod and then nothing happens, I don't see why the hell they stay on this website. It's a waste of space at this point and a waste of my time.
I'm forced to agree with hero, stop being self centered. If you want the mod to get finished, how about you take the time to learn how to mod in hwrm. Currently he is handling 3 mods alone and doesn't have a dedicated team to help him. He also has to work to keep a roof over his head, so there's that to consider.So you have 2 options learn how to and help him out or keep your mouth shut
Another thing. The world doesn’t revolve around you. If you're so upset about how the mod is progressing, then offer to help rather than complain. If complaining is all you're gonna do, then don’t waste MY time with your rantings.

I guess you have a hard time reading English correctly, so I'll put it into more simple terms for your small mind. I never said I made any maps for any games. I'm just too busy playing games to make mods or make maps for games. It's not about the work ethic required to make them, or how time consuming it is to create these things.
I'm just one of those guys who gets bored really easily, so I have to constantly entertain myself. And no, it has nothing to do with me not having a job, etc. I'm not going to waste my life away for a piece of garbage system (aka: the us gov) that hinders it's people instead of letting them grow and by the time you're 60, the only retirement you have to look forward to is SSI and slowly killing yourself because it's the most corrupt country on the planet run by a bunch of fools. So I refuse to perpetuate the cycle by not contributing to it and enabling them to be worse. Not that me not contributing to it is going to make any difference anyway.
