Full Version 3 commentsLast Life is a mod. I have never played it, and I am excited to try it out.
You are immersed in a very similar story to that of Half-Life. You will also notice a slightly better artificial intelligence and a new weapon model. 49 maps total. You will also notice a new obstacle course, there are always beginners ;-)
Last-life est un mod solo pour Half-life. Vous êtes plongé dans une histoire très proche à celle de Half-life.
Il n'y a donc aucune nouveauté du coté du scénario.
Mais vous trouverez d'énormes nouveautés dans le jeu. Tout d'abord, vous noterez tout de suite que les skins des armes ont tous changé, ainsi que leurs sons. Les personnages extérieurs aussi on subi d'énormes changements ;beaucoup de personnages ont été modélisés et retéxturés. Vous noterez aussi une légèrement meilleure intelligence artificielle.
Les maps sont au nombre d'une quarante-neuf environ. Ce sont -a mon avis- le point fort de Last-life car elles sont très bien mappées. Vous noterez aussi un nouveau parcours d'obstacles, il y a toujours des débutants ;-)

To fix that scary bug on the map «ll_2a2c» just open «models» folder and remove the file «zombie.mdl». Because it is damaged ! The game will use the original «zombie.mdl» from the original game, and that one is working fine.
Hey, what a deception over here ? The author said that this mod contain 49 maps. But actually you can play only at 44 of them ! There are 5 maps is unavailable anyway ! Their names are : ll_2a5, ll_2a5b, ll_2a5c, ll_3a1 and ll_3a1b. You can watch them all by typing «map ll_2a5» at the console. But don't go forward !!! Your way is right BEHIND you ! So, the large piece of the story was just carved out ! (((
So I just played and finished this mod today. And I must say it was pretty good! It had many flaws regarding a lot of the puzzles though, since a lot of times I had no idea on where to go and what I was supposed to do, but other than that, it's worth playing! It will keep you busy for a couple of hours for sure! And you rarely even see mods being this big and not being fully rushed, so this by itself makes for a very unique experience.
Please help! I stuck in the room with broken bridge (exploding cylinders). Cannot understand, where to go next. :(

Damn ! I just shouldn't shoot off the barnacles, because one of them is needed to lift me up, to the broken bridge. Damn !...
