This thing looks so magnificent. It'd almost be a sin not to put this in game no matter what. If you guys don't use it for your mod then please at least let me use it for mine.

Can't do it in game due to many things..the closest thing to it we could get is the Cradle simply attracting the torpedoes towards it rather than actually intercepting them..which visually would be disapointing

On that note, I gots a question: are you considering adding a UNSC equivalent of the Higaaran defense field frigate? That would be really cool, and not entirely implausible (something with an EMP field perhaps?).

We had thought of that, up to the point of making a concept for it, but people were against the idea

It may still make an appearance though.

i know this is like months in the past now and you probs wont bother but making a defence field frigate would be total plausable because if the Master Chiefs armour has a shield that can be increased in strength to make it thicker then why cant a ship make a shield bubble and do the same cept bigger.

Docking Homeworld 1 style shouldn't be too hard. Simply check the "Latch" Option on the Dockpath (CFHodEdTangent). It's the same thing Rescource Collectors use. I've gotten frigates to dock without disapearing that way before.

This should be counted as the UNSC's Repair Platform in Sins of the Prophets.

Description

As described in the books, the UNSC Repair and Refit station, able to fit 3 destroyers on each side or a capitol ship horizontally.

May or may not make it into the game, depending on if we can work out how to bring back visual docking like in Homeworld 1 rather than the hangar docking of Hw2.
