Just a quick ALO render of the new gun models so far.

Is their an MA5B model? Also, is UNSC Army going to be in the game as native troops to planets like the police? We gonna see halo 4 Pelicans? What about frigates? Hogs?
It is the DMR. I was going to put in the Army as native troops but have since changed my mind. I am going to focus more on the civilian militias and try to tell that side of the story...the military side has been explored in every game so far.
I am kinda lumping every military branch together into a sort of conglomerate that will be the UNSC faction. In a desperate situation, anyone with a gun is an asset, and branches become less important when the need for numbers arises. This is asymmetrical warfare after all, so the tactics that humans are used to begin to disintegrate in favor of survival at all costs.

Well the branches existed right up into the end of the war, and they did not become that desperate until after Reach fell (a while after it.)

Also, the MA5B is NOT the DMR.
MA5B is a variant of the standard AR, right? I'm getting confused as to what people are asking. lol. The gun in question is the DMR from Halo: Reach. The AR is NOT in this pic because it was created a long time ago and everyone has already seen it.
MA5B is the Halo CE assault rifle (the epic one with 60 rounds), rather than the MA5C D or K which were in other games or books.

I just saw your comment on the next page, and I retract my prior statement. But have you considered applying the same technique to the UNSC?
One of the reasons why I would have loved to see this made for CoH, a doctrine for Army, Militias, and ONI. Anyways its good to see you back, how goes the now not so new position?

Happy to see you're back! They are incredible. But is it just me or Covenant weapons got more detail? ;-)
What you are seeing is a lack of detail on the Spartan Laser...and since it's the biggest element in the pic, it contrasts the other guns around it. It needs a little something more...

great looking guns! btw, will brute shot weilders have a melee animation? Cuz i always thought that the brute shot was the best melee gun at least in halo 2

No. First trilogy only.
This is set in during the Human-Covenant war.
Besides, it wouldn't make sense if post-war equipment appear out of reason.
