Doesn't make me grab the suit because there's already a HUD at the start.

Same for me and for some reason I'm not having a flashlight in my config. It's in the file but not visible on the main menu screen yet visible in game on my hud. I suspect the mod author didn't adjust this mod the 25th anniversary patch. I shall test that later on but for now I'm off to bed. From what I have played and seen thus far I can tell it's a very solid mod and a lovely recreation. Brings back a lot of memories.
arrr, the error devil has crept in here. You don't have a flashlight. But the flashlight sprite has put itself back in place. Damn!
Yes, I'm having the above problems too, HUD is there but I cannot pick up a suit of use the flashlight, the option to do so doesn't seem to be in the menu either
I also got stuck a few times on the tram ride

Yes, for the flashlight hud will be removed.
You don't wear a HEV Suit and can't take one.
A Patch for some Bug's is coming. The Steam Version, when it's working again, will be included this patch.
I was a bit disappointed with this....run out of places to go, invisible walls and stuff. I've killed anything that moves that's not friendly, no idea what to do next. Been in every hole I can find...died loads...things I think ought to move maybe do not...little ammunition to find and no crow bar...maybe it'll get finished sometime but it isn't yet...I'm moving on.
Oh wow, gonna be a real blast to the past with this one!
