Hi everyone,
Welcome to the official launch of the upcoming Half-Life mod Dark Shadows. Currently it is only in pre-production work at the moment and so far nothing's been done yet. But I am planning on having people out to help me with the mod, so if you would like to help out with the mod with level designing and such please feel me to private message.
Anyways, Dark Shadows takes place in an alternate Black Mesa where you play the role of an corrupted scientist that goes undercover after being framed for murder and espionage, and responsible for the Black Mesa incident. You have to figure out ways to proof that you were not responsible. Dark Shadows aims to take place during the events of Blue-Shift and Opposing Force. Dark Shadows will also provide voice acting for new characters and enemies and a new soundtrack, along with some new weapons. Also for you to know that the pictures are just a preview of what's going to be coming ahead when the mod is released. A date will be announced soon.

Sooo... let me just see if I got this plot summary right.
You play as Ryan, a corrupt scientist at Black Mesa and you've been framed for murder and espionage. However, DESPITE being corrupt (in what way exactly?) you didn't actually commit murder or espionage?
However, you ARE responsible for the Black Mesa incident, which would make you very guilty of sabotage and by extension, many MANY counts of murder.
So you need to go undercover (with whom specifically?) to prove yourself WRONG. Why would you want to prove yourself wrong... and in regards to what exactly?
Sorry, but I really don't understand the plot of this at all based on that summary.
Hey there, Sorry about the confusing plot summary as I suffer from autism and so some of the grammar doesn't make sense at times. Basically when you're playing the role of Ryan. At the beginning of the mod, the character is actually in jail because someone framed the person for espionage and murder. And that the anonymous source who framed Ryan the Scientist was part of a rogue agency outside Black Mesa, They accused Ryan of being involved in the Black Mesa incident by starting the residence cascade and shot a few Black Mesa employees as the incident was about to happen. Also when the character is going undercover, the Black Ops team must protect Ryan and try to sneak in to Black Mesa and find the main evil boss. And try to find him in the rogue agency.
