We are trying to make the whole game as realistic as possible. Most of the locations should be stable, but some of them might have a few twist. As for pre-entered events, well, let's just say you might have a few surprises. As in any game including HL2 there will be pre-scripted events that have to occur in order for the game to progress. Now there might be more than one solution for a certain event to happen, but non the less the event will take place.
Also, most of the locations will be unknown or new ones, offering diversity for game-play and opening the player's horizons in Star Trek. I hope.
Most of the weapons will be somehow Star Trek oriented, with a few twists as most everything else in this mod. Some weapons should look like those seen in EF, but we'll try to put in a bit of originality in our stuff. Also, there will surely be traps, and melee weapons will be part of the game, naturally (how else would you fight advanced shield Borg Specialists, eh? Dang I'm saying too much!). As for grenades, that is yet to be discussed.
For multiplayer, you can play as Borg, 8472, or humans, maybe Klingons or Vulcans if possible. For single player you will only be able to play as a Human. You will be able to fight against just about any species, depending on the campaign. You will be able to interact with most species.

First of all, we would like to apologize for the lack of updates and the apparent lack of activity around the Borg Wars mod for the last few months. It has been since last year's November since any real public activity has been showing, and many people have since then been coming to us asking, you guessed it, Is Borg Wars dead?
Well obviously, we are not, as testifies this update. A few of us are still pretty active and we communicate with eachother very often. There is a good part of the team which has been in hibernation for most of this time, but that is caused by the re-organisation that is occuring amongst the team. I will spare you the details of this mess, since most of you would probably fall asleep reading the ongoing list of adjustments that have been made or are going to be.
As always, we are in need of help, but fear not, we're not helpless even though we just lack a a few team members. You can contact either MJCS or DaFranker regarding entry in the team, and any contribution is greatly appreciated.
On a lighter note, MJCS has been working a few more tricks lately. The most noteworthy are the refit of the current website, as well as a new teaser trailer fresh from the orbital docks, which you can download below. Also, updates will now happen much more regularly, and the lack of activity on the forums, IRC channel, and the overall community is expected come back even stronger.

Seriously, I've been waiting for some sort of mod for HL2 based upon Star Trek...I'm eagerly awaiting this mod to come to bear. Looks great so far!

For any who'd still be wondering, or for any who'd just stumbled across this mod, I need to inform you that Borg Wars is, in effect, pretty much dead. The idea still hangs around that MJCS and/or I might still revive the mod sometime in the future, but it's only a remote possibility.
Sounds Good, I think It should be like zombie panic apart from Borg Not Zombies.

Hehe, just dropping by to tell you all that, Borg Wars is not dead, as some might think. We've been having some trouble lately releasing some content, but we'll be sure to get out something soon for your eager eyes.
