Wouldn't it make more sense to create a sequel in source or some other modern engine? Besides I don't think you could even release this as a free mod legally using the original models, sounds, code etc because it's owned by Streamline Studios formerly Rewolf
It's not owned by streamline, it's currently legally owned by Valve. Valve allows most of its Source and GoldSrc materials to be used in free third party modifications, so that's not a problem.
As for a switch to Source, that's possible but undecided. This mod was my friend's idea. I'm just helping him set up the page, so the final decision is his.
If you're interested however, my team is currently in deep development of a complete remake of Gunman on the Source Engine. (Gunman Reloaded)
