GMDX is an award-winning large-scale modification for the 2000 PC classic Deus Ex. GMDX addresses the many flaws of the game, polishes it to a very high standard, and adds new layers of depth that one would have hoped to see in a sequel. GMDX is executed with the strict parameter of staying true to the original design principles that define Deus Ex, and seeks to improve all aspects of design excluding the plot and soundtrack. The cumulative result thus far is said to be, and aims to be the "definitive Deus Ex experience".
Multitools can now be used at range, meaning cameras, turrets & alarm units are more worthy of hacking, and now multitools are just as worthy of master investment as lockpicking.
I assume range is increased only at high skill level?
It has now been integrated into the perk system :)
Wow this is really cool. Feels a bit like a James Bond gadget.
I always found the multitools being only an electronic lock and panel thing
Because of the fact they aren't so abundant, investing in the computer skill was more effective, also the fact they need to get close and offer less functions than hacking a termianl which cost nothing, and can only disable things ...
In a way I would like an alt fire to make actually the multitools to make the turrets being turned against your enemies when hacked or even by pressing use onto them when they are disabled to change their settings...
Maybe as a perk :)
yeah a perk, not by default anyways, just like the compy skill after certain upgrades
