GMDX is an award-winning large-scale modification for the 2000 PC classic Deus Ex. GMDX addresses the many flaws of the game, polishes it to a very high standard, and adds new layers of depth that one would have hoped to see in a sequel. GMDX is executed with the strict parameter of staying true to the original design principles that define Deus Ex, and seeks to improve all aspects of design excluding the plot and soundtrack. The cumulative result thus far is said to be, and aims to be the "definitive Deus Ex experience".
Movers (Doors) now display the minimum damage threshold, which is the minimum amount of damage required to be able to do damage to a door.
handy detail
Did you also fix damage/accuracy display for weapons in inventory? I remember that it changes incorrectly when you upgrade Combat Strength or improve appropriate skill.
Yes. Combat strength now displays the damage bonus it offers and weapon skills show the correct damage bonus (double that of vanilla, i.e +100% at master level).
Not sure what you believe to be wrong with accuracy info though.
Good work
Does it mean that we 'll see the next update soon?)
Yes indeed.
In some cases, I'm seeing damage to objects with a higher damage threshold than the damage displayed in my inventory menu.
Last I recall seeing this, I was level 3 with low-tech with a baton and had level 2 or 3 combat strength, which was said to put me at 37 damage; however, the threshold was 40 and I was still damaging the door.
I see JC is 100% black.
