The wait is over, the final release of this mod is here. This version introduces tyranids as a playable race and brings strongholds from Soulstorm as a new linear campaign and chaos renegades arsenal was also expanded.
Requires Tyranid Mod to be installed.
- Normalized all weapons (weapons which have their effectiveness never reach 100 against any type of armour are now scaled up to 100% effectiveness, but the damage is reduced. For example: knife had 50% effectiveness against infantry, 1% effectiveness against heavy infantry and 0 effectiveness against all other armour types. Now it has 100% effectiveness against infantry, 2% against heavy infantry, 0% against all other types and its damage has been halved, so the DPS will be the same)
- Increased melta-weapons effectiveness against light(50%->100%) and medium (40%->50%) buildings
- Removed the 1-per-squad limit of sternguard special weapons (flamer, plasmagun, meltagun)
- Power sword and power fist upgrades for vanguard veterans are now cheaper. Also removed 3-per-squad limit on thunder hammers.
- All flamer weapons recieved +5 to their range (10->15 regular flamer, 15->20 heavy flamer, 20->25 flamestorm cannon)
- Removed 1 primary + 1 secondary hero limitation for most races, so you can now pick any 2 heroes
- You can now upgrade you listening posts at tier 1, hovewer the gun emplacement will not be activated until you reach tier2 (but you still get requisition and health bonuses). Necrons are unaffected by this change and still require tier 2 for the upgrade. Ork listening post doesn't shoot at all until you build the pile of guns.
- Nerfed chaos lesser daemons health (500->300 for bloodletters, daemonettes and horrors, 1000->600 for plaguebearers)
- New unit: blight drone: t2 vehicle equipped with an autocannon. Can deepstrike like other daemons
- Decreased cost of bloodcrushers(175/175 30s -> 125/125 20s).
- Increased health (300->400) of bloodcrushers and bonus health from daemonic stability researches (100 -> 200 per research).
- Decreased cost of terminators and assault terminators (300/125 per marine -> 250->75), chaos terminators (250/110 -> 225/60), obliterators (600/250 -> 400/150), mega-armored nobz (300/100->250/60), flash gitz (200/75->200/50), wraithguard (275/150 -> 200/100), Warp beasts (250/80->200/50), lychguard (250->200), deathmarks (200->160), immortals(140->120), Crisis suits (500/125->400/100), broadsides (450/150->300/125), gk terminators (270/115->225/60), paladins (500/200->400/150), deathwatch terminators (400/150->325/100)
- Meltabomb damage nerfed(1000-1500 -> 700-900) so it won't instakill light vehicles like vyper or wartrakk
- Nerfed autocannon and psycannon damage against monstrous creatures from 100%->60%
- Ork shootaz price increased (25/0->30/0 per ork)
- Chaos Furious charge research returns, gives increased damage for cultists and raptors, and equipps CSMs with chainswords.
- Techmarine now has a limit of 1 (instead of 3) but can be accompanied by up to 2 servitors. Health is increased 375->500, also gets another 500 after servo-harness upgrade
- Space marines furious charge upgrade removed, the jump attack for assault marines is enabled by building an armoury
- Eldar Rangers now start with 4 in squad instead of 5, decreasing the initial cost of the squad
- Decreased cost of aspect portal from 200/0 to 150/0
- Changed Leman Russ Battle Tank armour type from Medium Vehicle to Heavy Vehicle
- Changed Tau Riptide armour type from Monstrous Creature to Heavy Vehicle
- Decreased Tau Riptide health from 15000 to 10000
- Decreased Tau Broadside battlesuit squad cap from 15 to 10
- Decreased Tau Skyray gunship support cap from 15 to 12
- Decreased Tau skyray gunship cost from 420/600 to 400/500
- Decreased Tau Hammerhead gunship support cap from 15 to 10
- Changed Tau Hammerhead gunship cost from 330/530 to 350/450
- Simplified Space Marine infantry weapons so different squad types will use the same weapon. For example, sternguard squad's bolters will be the same as tactical marines. So it will do less damage initally, but will benefit from targetfinders research. Similar changes to other races incoming.
- Added Massive Battles and Epic Battles modes that increase the maximum squad and support cap by 2 and 4 respectively. You can enable both and have an 8 times bigger battle. Note that the race balance will be disrupted by this modes
- Units that are more elite than standard terminators (Honour guard, Obliterators and Paladins) now require tier4 to be deployed (but not relic).
- Grey knight terminators now require tier3 (since they got cheaper)
- Normalized tier2 costs across races, t2 and t3 now require at least one building from the previous tier (SMs could go t3 without building anything before)
- Guard veterans now require tier2 and are reverted to being upgraded via researches (not sergeants). Guardsmen can be builds from HQ instead.
- Company Command squad can now include priests instead of vox casters. Orders are now bound to standard bearer (that you can build unlimited amount now). Airstrike is back to the captain.
- Fixed squad caps for tier1 CSM units. Now on par with loyal marines.
- Honour guard can now be reinforced up to 10 man squads. Squad cap increased to 20. Can be accompanied by a chapter champion.
- Inquisitional stormtroopers can now deepstrike via valkyrie from the HQ
- Chaos vehicles now recieve most upgrades via marks instead of researches. Mark of Khorne adds a combi-bolter, Mark of Nurgle gives parasitic posession(adds a regeneration to a vehicle), Mark of Slaanesh adds a dozer blade, increasing speed and Mark of Tzeentch gives hull mutation (decreases incoming damage). Extra armour and Daemonic posession are still availible via researches.
- Hunter killer and seeker missile now cost 25 power for each use.
- New unit - chaos spawns. Strong melee unit with infantry armor and a lot of health.

Сделай совместимость с Индификации и Стронгхолд мод
С этим сложно, вынос в отдельную расу (в моде тираниды заменяют сестер) потребует доработок по части интерфейса, баланса и т.д. Это займет довольно много времени. Так что увы и ах, если не появятся другие люди, которым это нужно, мои тираниды так и останутся эксклюзивом мода. Плюс вынесеные тираниды все еще будут зависеть от тиранид мода, т.к. нельзя выдавать чужие модели за свои.
А ты все делаешь один?
Раньше помогали люди с доработкой моделей и иконок, сейчас они из моддинга ушли. А по части геймплея (баланс, ИИ, кампашки и т.д.) делаю я один.

Прайма делал Карандрас (один из знакомых моделеров) из деталей моделей из тиранидмода. А тиран из мода Tyranid painter (там он был без анимаций, анимировал другой знакомый моделер)

Если бы все было так просто... взять и анимировать. Но это несколько дней работы, результатами которой все равно никто не воспользуется.

Having an issue, buildings cant be destroyed, otherwise love the models and gameplay in general.
You need specific weapons to destroy vehicles and buildings. Regular anti-infantry weapons do 0 damage against armored targets. Get something like a lascannon or even demolisher siege cannon to evaporate buildings

There is a changelog in the description of this download :) In short, apart from the entire tyranid race, Chaos got new renegade units and some daemons, dreadknight was added and thats it.

Good mode
So, I was playing Inquisition against Tyranids and my tier 1 listening post turrets did not want to shoot at the 'nids. I also do not recall the tier 2 listening posts shooting either.
This being said, I enjoyed playing as the Inquisition, more than I thought I would.
All listening posts (excepts orky ones) won't attack the enemy until the player reaches tier 2 (even if they are upgraded to LP2). Inquisitional LP2 since it has heavy flamers has less range (20) than regular ranged infantry(25) so this may be the cause of your frustration. After LP3 upgrade it has the range of regular ranged weapons.

С ними же и возникла проблема.
При запуске компании Winter Assault возникает ошибка SCAR, а консоль ругает "Could not find bp guard_leaders_commisar in sgroup sg_commisar" и NIS mode not removed from 'art/ebps/races/imperial guard/troops/imperial_captaint_tgd'. С чем может быть связана проблема?

Извиняюсь заранее за возможно глупый вопрос, но этот мод имеет обновленные модели на основе уже старенького Тиранид Мода? Просто настолько большой размер по сравнению с тем.
