Fall of Kobol is a total-conversion modification for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion featuring Battlestar Galactica: Colonial and Cylons.
This version introduces many new features and bug fixes to Fall of Kobol. This is a full version download and the included Core IS compatible with factions in Sins of the Fallen (1.82.36) if previously downloaded. Please read the feature for How to Install Sins of the Fallen for instructions on the correct order of activation for the mod.

Note on Sins of the Fallen compatibility:
This version is compatible with Sins of the Fallen 1.82.36 if previously installed. If you have not installed Sins of the Fallen 1.82.36 you must install its 1.82.36 version first, then install Fall of Kobol 1.82.36.1 overwriting any files from 1.82.36 as prompted. Failure to install Sins of the Fallen 1.82.36 first will result in mini-dumps if the older Core folder is used as it will not know about any of the new assets introduced with 1.82.36.1.
If you don't use Sins of the Fallen, this is a full version and can be either installed by itself or copied over your existing install of Fall of Kobol.
How To Install Sins Of The Fallen
Important: RESTART Sins of a Solar Empire after activating the mod. This will avoid a common mini-dump after starting a game. If the game mini-dumps attempting to deactivate the mod (i.e. similar issue), then delete the EnabledMods.txt in your rebellion mod folder.

I've tried following the instructions but every time i try to activate the mod it crashes (i assume this is a mini-dump) i've only enable one each of the 0-1 folders and i've enabled them in order. Where am i going wrong? Do i need another mod to make this one work?
Try just enabling the following in order. Don't activate the mod until you have all three in the list...

Can we expect a Baked version too? :)
Eventually... I got a few people that give feedback and a lot of energy goes into uploading here so I tend to upload the Baked version less often. It is easy to bake your own version of the mod if you are ever interested.
the mod is pretty good in the 5 mins i can see it before the mini-dump pops up and ruins the fun.

Does this update include more texture deatils for the CYLON or COLONIAL ships.
The colonial texture updates will be in the next release. I've made a lot of updates to the specular, reflective and light maps which help the textures look more realistic as well as the new particle effects I've shown. Cylons will be next on the list to do.
okay so i followed the instructions and all but when i'm enabling all of the mods properly and click on "Accept Changes" the game screen for the mod shows and says restart sins after enabling the mod. but during that screen the game crashes and shows the mini-dump thing, what am i doing wrong???
