Jesus man. It feels like the rebels almost 100% of the time are curb stomped in these videos lol.
I'm going out on a limb here but have you ever planned to do any other MC class variants ? Mc80b, wingless, mc90 etc? It feels like the liberty class gets far too much screen time in most mods. It's a beautiful ship no doubt, it's just rare to find more variation in most mods for the mon calamari.

I reduced the mc 80 cost by 500, down to 5000, and the mc 30 to 3500. I hope that helps.

No I'm afraid not. I have tried my hand at the mc 90 before, but wasn't satisfied with it so I didn't complete it. Also questions don't cost me anything to answer to ask away :)

I'm running on windows 10 now, and I can't get max 8 working on it. I could run a newer version of max but I can't export to .alo on those versions, so I'm afraid my modelling days for empire at war are done. I could jump through a lot of hoops to still be able to do it but honestly, I'm very happy with the work I've made, and I don't have the time anymore to put the time into models that I need to put in to get to the level of detail where I like them. And honestly, I will not make models that I'm not happy with because of time constraints.

Just to clarify: the GoG version, with the that link's patch on both executables, is all you need to keep the mod running without the constant crashes?

I have had it on Steam for so long I forgot the disc version even had issues. I am assuming the GoG version is the same as the Steam one right?

Yup. I love to go poly crazy with large starships. I think they are wasted on small objects such as starfighters. Even my turrets are larger than the fighters, and I keep those reasonably low-poly.

I always disliked how most mods would give a crapton of fighters to each ship, to the point where the battles would lag a ton, or come down to fighters/bombers being more important than the ships themselves. I like mainly ship v ship fights, with very few squadrons from dedicated carrier or capital ships personally.

Greetings.
It's been quiet here for a long time now. Now, I bring gifts!

I'm uploading a new version of the same old beta right now. It includes several bugfixes, as well as new art assets. Mostly asteroids and new engine glows for the Mon Calamari cruisers and the Quasar carrier. I also increased the population cap to 50 since the crash fix fixed all crashes. Some people seem to still have some issues in applying it properly. This is how I got it to work:

I recently bought GoGs Empire at war Gold pack. ( Gog.com ) It works on all versions of windows, including 10, which is what I now run on my new machine. GoG ensures that every game it has on its platform runs on almost any system. With this you no longer need to install any 64 bit patch, or crack, to get it to work. Just install and play. Then, after applying this crash fix to both the EAW executable as well as the FoC executable ( Youtube.com ) I can run the game at 50 pop cap without crashes, this even holds up in 2v2 skirmish vs hard AIs. This new version has no new drastic changes, only a few asthetics and bug fixes. I still felt it fair enough to release it to the public anyway, since I figured some people might be interested in this regardless.
