3d models are not too awesome in any mod... :/ Well, the map isn't too similar to the one seen in mobile version, specially for some textures. Lots of programing? I don't think so. Just coloured sprites and new decorate functions for some new custom monsters, and making the maps in Hexen format.
What are you talking about? Programming is the biggest part of this project, else it'll just look like a mess. Doom RPG is completely different from the usual Doom game.

Doom RPG was the best mobile game I played (especially in the pre-Android era)

Niiiice, played the hell out of DRPG 1 and 2 on my phone years back. I hope you expand it to make it longer though. ^^
