While I think this mod needs a lot more polish, it does have some cool **** in it and really appreciate you removing the copyrighted stuff and uploading this. Nice job hzeric!

Guys just put Dr4 gzdoom as a source instead of using it as wad in ZDL.Dont use the bat file
well, someone should probably try to continue the project, minus the whole copyrighted crap.
Sorry to bother, but the copyright is the legal side of the game. If you would create a game like this you would want money for it, because there's too much effort and time wasted to make that project real.

Somebody has stolen your lightening effects and mark this as RTX Doom. I have compared the extracted pk3 files and found your 17.2kb one inside. Even the hash and code is identical to yours. Other files from your mod still be cryptical renamed to lokking as it is his own. Moddb.com

(i wanna help him out with the dr4 shut down problem. looks like i just became a mod activist and now i'm fightin for the game mod community against the ****** game corporations that tries to shut down mods like zenimax did. (but i'm fighting only for modders that keep their mods free. "if you charge for ur mods, u r an ******* that desersves to die" this is what i say for every ******* i encounter))

man I think that rtxdoom is the original. didn't you read the description? this is a compilation, and the author of this post isn't even the first compilator (vasyan777), who picked a lot of mods (probrably rtxdoom too) and packed up under the name of Doom Remake 4

The options are in english. To play it I just found the single PK3 called doom_remake_4.pk3 that is 921mb in size. Thats the bulk of the information and its all in english.

I'm not sure at what point I tried this mod previously but from a retrospective of someone that's been playing PC games consistently since the early 90's all the way up to the modern day, it wasn't terrible. Should this be your first example of DOOM? Certainly not but it's still interesting. All the school girl drama queen ******** aside that the previous ratings corresponded to, it did however have bugs that were notable but not game breaking.
If the following were fixed in this "final" version, I wouldn't mind giving it a shot again:
-Enemies were constantly trying to shoot you through walls despite never previously seeing the player
- The standard shotgun sound effect was like a cannon rather then a shotgun for some reason
-Enemy fireball projectiles hitscan area was far larger then it should be
I'm sure there's a couple other more minor things I forgot since it's been over a year but those were the most annoying that I remember.

you cant run mods that werent made with crispy doom in mind besides i think you can run this modpack with other mods in gzdoom

Ugly as sin, but has a lot of other mods included, likely without permission, that serve as a useful time capsule to create some new franken-mods out of.
