This total conversion intends to bring the PlayStation experience from 1997 to your PC. Created by Daedolon, Fox, Hendricks266, Nukey, oasiz and TerminX. Special thanks to Joshua and MusicallyInspired. Music mastering by Mark ‘TDK’ Knight.
A preview version of Duke Nukem: Total Meltdown has been found.
It got different art, levels, music, etc.
There are also some unique maps. They are just awful.
Check out the discussion on Duke4.net.
I will work on a patch with Mark 'TDK' Knight remixes, and a version compatible with DOS so you can play on low-key multiplayer ports.
And I thought I wouldn't be able to make this in time. So it appears it will be possible to play Plug and Pray using one of the source ports with working...
I don't post updates too often, do I? Here is a few screenshots of the sort of changes made to the new maps so they can be played in multiplayer. Speaking...
I have been working on Plug and Pray maps so they will work properly in Co-operative and Deathmatch modes. :) That way you can play with your friends...
I messed up last upload, so here's it again! 🤦 Bringing back the PlayStation experience from 1997 to your PC.

Hi, the first fires in hollywood are not animated until you get very close and move around and even then they stop or appear a little buggy .
The game thinks my saved game is corrupt even though I did nothing to the savegame file and am loading the game the same exact way I did the first time! The specific error message is "Loading savegame file 'save0001.esv' failed (code 5), cannot recover". Also, there are TWO savegame files in my Total Meltdown directory, but the game only recognizes one - the one I saved today. THe older one does not appear on the load screen.

I was about to mention that but you already did.
It's really ******** that you're unable to save in this mod, I would love a fix.
EDIT: It seems that the issue is due to EDuke32 itself, the latest versions seem to break it. You're better off using the EDuke32 provided in the file.
Still, I'd like a fix to make it compatible with the latest EDuke32, this "old" one has terrible mouse movement.
It seems that the latest Eduke32 of this day, r9239, fixed this.
I'm not sure how, maybe an EDuke32 developer saw this and decided to fix it. If that is so, thank you.
No idea :(
Does that mean I cannot save my game in Total Meltdown anymore?
Does this also apply to all other savegames?
This issue affects only Total Meltdown.
