Deliverance 2600 is a Metroidvania-inspired, exploration-focused total conversion for Doom and Doom 2, powered by the GZDoom engine. The player assumes the role of Stanford T. Pace, a former prison inmate who volunteers for Project Deliverance, which is intended to rehabilitate criminals by means of extreme discipline. He is then sent out on a mission to investigate a mysterious communications breakdown with a research facility on the planet Ferrus XII. But what he seeks is something else than redemption...

Report RSS Beta stage launches!

The beta stage of Deliverance 2600 finally launches.

It is with immense joy and pride that I announce the launch of the beta stage of Deliverance 2600!

As of the launch of the Beta 0.9 build, everything has been fully implemented - only the finishing touches need to be applied. Mainly this means balancing the mod. And finishing an area I apparently left untouched for some reason.

Aside from the implementation of the custom difficulty levels, this build consists of fairly minor additions and tweaks. As usual, the full changelog is in the "versions.txt" file included with the download.

In case you have any suggestions for tweaking/balancing the mod, do feel free to let me know, preferably by commenting either on this post or on the download page of the Beta 0.9 build.

The release date of the final release version will be announced in the coming weeks.
