Dei Agminum (Armies of God) is an ambitious mod project aimed at becoming the premiere Medieval II Total War Crusades mod. Its origins can be traced back to the Broken Crescent Submod "Jersualem Rising". It will use the Crusades campaign from Kingdoms as a base but will in time morph into its own distinct entity. For now I will concentrate on revamping the Crusades campaign through this mod. This will include renaming existing units, settlements and factions with their historical names, introducing historically accurate buildings and new units and completely remaking unit art/UI (models, textures, banners, screens and etc.) and introducing other assets. For now these are the mod's main priorities.
Credit to the Ain Jalut and Tsardoms teams. I mished and mashed their ground types and added some of my own custom terrain textures to create the current strat map terrain for DA. The old vanilla ground types were rough and grainy, this new look makes the map look a lot cleaner and smoother.
In the above half you have vanilla Crusades and in the bottom half you can see how Dei Agminum is evolving from that original frame. Truly a new Crusades experience for the current day.
Beautiful!
TY! ;)
Hello, I am one of the developer of Ain Jalut Mod. I saw your mail. Please do not hesitate to use the ain jalut mod if it will be usefull for your mod
Thank you! I definitely want to integrate your guys' map into DA,...but it will be sometime until I can do that....have two more factions to finish first. Again great work on that map, its one of the best maps I've seen of the Middle East!
Is there a guide to install the Ain Jalut mod? I can't get it to work.
This is not a criticism to your/any mod or something but I always thought the vanilla map/ground of M2TW was very pretty and it stands out, personally I don't like the modern 3D maps games have
