Do I need to uninstall Contra 009?
Not mandatory, but recommended as users sometimes leave mod files enabled (with .big extension) and addons which can cause problems.

Hello, i have made a full german language document for the latest contra 009. I dont have the time to do it again in contra X. Is there a way i can replace the "same" section of the text to only translate the new sections? Or is somewhere outside who has a fully translated version of contra X, possibly the team of contra X? Than i can give my translated version away.
You can use text comparing software such as Beyond Compare. Compare the text differences between 009 and X Beta, then change only the text that has differences on your German text file.

WELL DONE, dear developer!
Recently I played via LAN with friend against Hard China AI and there was no mismatch, though the game crashed right after our victory.
However, when we were playing against two China bots, the desynchronization occured only once and after about 30 minutes of gameplay.
I saw those additional text lines on screen when the game detected mismatch but I couldn't read them all because they disappeared after 5 seconds.
So, please, could you write them here or tell me where to find them? (for example, some Changelog on Google Disc etc.)

I'm guessing that Contra 009 will no longer be updated, as development has been shifted to Contra X? If so, will it require Contra 009 for X to function?
Lastly, what are the main differences between Contra X & 009?

Why dont you simply download X and check everything?

I have one problem with this game: The sight range for a unit is lower than its attack range. In other words, my forces can attack unseen enemy forces!

Units' sight and attack ranges do not match which is intended. For example, an artillery unit should not have more sight than a tank just because it has more weapon range. They must be supported by reconnaissance. Think about it - certain artillery units have much longer range than a radar, and others even have unlimited range. As for acquiring targets out of sight range, it's an original game behavior that has no ideal solution.

Узнать, какие файлы переименовывать, можно по их именам. Некоторые файлы не являются обязательными и отвечают за тонкую настройку. Другие определяют язык игры, горячие клавиши и т.д. Не использовать лаунчер не рекомендуется, зачем играть без него?
Я могу дать вам случайный список, но результат вам может не понравиться. Только вы можете определить, какие настройки вам нужны. Вариаций слишком много, чтобы перечислять их здесь.

Причин может быть много. Наиболее распространены:
- ваша игра не пропатчена до версии 1.04
- у вас в папке с игрой есть несовместимые моды или дополнения
- вы используете windows 10 или 11 без внесенных исправлений для игры
Загрузите и запустите GenPatcher: Legi.cc
и посмотрите, исправит ли он ошибку. Если нет, переустановите игру и установите мод еще раз.
