Shock Therapy was able to pull off something close to a stream effect. Perhaps you could talk it up with him (or them) about it?

It was made using particles as far as i know, i will do the same later, but it costly to performance.

The stream effect in Shock Therapy is a contrail style effect. The Stream.fx shader in RA3 is broken, even though it works in Uprising.

Кстати, разве писолятор не струей распыляет? Мб его логику использовать?
Или как вариант сделать оружие с очень большой скорострельностью с невидимыми снарядами, каждый из которых имеет выхлоп в виде эффекта струи?

Finished them, sadly but stream draw does not work in RA3, i'll try to simulate it in future with particles.
