Civil-Protection: Early Access v2
Demo 10 commentsA demo version of the mod that includes the first few chapters. They are fully functional and polished.
Civil-Protection is a mod for Half-Life 2: Episode 2 that lets you experience the life of a metrocop at its worst. After surviving a fatal dropship crash, CP Unit MD-1046, also known as 'Matt Derver', is forced to make his way through zombie infested underground systems.
Scavenge through the underground systems, meet unexpected allies and experience random encounters during Matt Derver's journey. Civil-Protection features some choices for the player to make. Coupled with random encounters, this makes each play-though of the mod unique.

Most notably contains full English subtitles. Full change log is included. Requires EAv2 to be installed first. Follow the same installation instructions...
An early access of the first few chapters, available for download. The early access version has yet to be polished off, but is still a playable demo...
Are you going to port your project to the Entropy Zero 2 mod base?
Porting the project to the EZ2 mod base may provide benefits, but is unlikely to happen due to the time it would take to fix everything and ensure complete functionality afterward.
Why did this mod get to the top of the list?
because combine mods are the best
The mod has a really cool concept, ideas (like the ingame decisions) and it is also hella fun. Sometimes I feel a bit cheated by enemy placements but I guess it's fine for the screamer. The only problem could be arguably that it starts easy, then it gots much MUCH harder in the tunnels, and once you get guns there is not a single trouble until Ravenholm.
As for the early access, I got stuck at the end. The waves never ended. Plus, the patch for subtitles doesn't seem to work for me, so I didn't understand anything the combines and metrocops were saying, which made even more confusing the geographical distribution of Ravenholm, being like 100 mettres from the sewers of the city? or maybe that was a canal... never really knew where I was the whole game.
I loved it and will be playing it when the full release come. I wish you all the luck
Thanks for the detailed feedback! Hopefully the final release won't be too far away now, but I can't say for certain yet.
Anywhere that I can find the walkthrough for the CP Version 1?
I know its annoying as **** to hear again. But is this mod still alive? You last confirmed this on April 4th 2023, which is pretty recent. But I just want to be clear.
I don't find people asking in on the mod's progress annoying, if anyone wants to ask I'm happy to answer. As of now, progress is slow, but the mod continues to see small developments every now and then.
game keep crashing
