Step into some new boots (and a new body), and re-enter the Half-Life universe once more, as the pessimistic, wisecracking, door-kicking zealot known as 'Bad Cop'.
Command a small army of Combine synths and soldiers on a Northern campaign, to capture Dr. Judith Mossman. Tread in the wake of Freeman at Nova Prospekt. Explore the mysterious 'Arbeit Communications' facility and experience the cruelty of duality in the frozen wastes beyond.
We're pushing the envelope with Entropy : Zero 2. You're going to love what we're working on. There's something for everyone here. More action, more story, more Bad Cop - but most importantly - more Half-Life!
Hey folks! We hope you're all keeping well. We have a quick update for you this month.
As I stated on Twitter the other day, we're in the process right now of consolidating and recording our final dialogue. These are scenes that have been re-written over the last few months, some crucial lines for the end of the game and some lingering response placeholders. Dialogue might still be tweaked in response to feedback from our big test, but we're really trying to put the bolts on now in regards to the voiced narrative content of EZ2. Some major strides have been made this month and now we are well on our way.
The big test is something we know our followers have been anticipating. There will be news on this when we're ready. Please continue to be patient!
You'll be excited to hear that Achievements have now made their way into the game and we have lots of them. Most of them are fully implemented. There may be more to come!
This month we have been recording some gameplay. Last week I released a clip from Chapter 5 and I have a brand new one for you today. Alongside these clips, 1upD has also been busy recording some gameplay from Chapter 4.
Arbeit Combat
Lab Raid
Xen Grenade Assault
Lake Tuurngait
1upD has also been sharing some old development videos that were made in the past to assist with development and explain ideas and designs. We thought this kind of content might be interesting and we can now share some of it. If you're interested in looking into our thoughts during development and gain some insights into our processes, take a look!
Cut Xentarium Expansion

Boid Testing
Thanks for sticking with us!
It is Wednesday my dudes. It’s also UPDATE TIME.
Got an update for you in VIDEO FORM! The future is now.
-A replacement for the original EZ2's AR2, in which replaces the viewmodel animations of the AR2 with another version, similar to HL2 version of AR2.
Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer will need to be set to use the ‘upcoming' beta.
A Steam Art pack - use this if you want to make the Demo look pretty in your Steam library.

I posted a gameplay clip of me running through the old version of the map we called "Xentarium".
I didn't like the original Entropy Zero very much, to the point I dropped the mod near the end. But seeing what you guys do for the sequel makes me really interested. Definitely following!
I feel like EZ2 is gonna be more a blast and enjoyable
I've been sharing gameplay clips on my YouTube channel over the past few weeks. The most recent one from today is of a defense section at a cabin.
Breadman might be dropping some new gameplay on his channel soon, so keep an eye out for that as well.
The MP5K's world model is a bit small. Any chance for it to get a larger model so it's not smaller than the MP7?
On an unrelated note, the vortigaunt zombies could use some changes to make them more consistent with the rest of the regular headcrab zombies IMO.
Ehhh i think the HKMP5 is fine maybe it's just a placeholder but I also agree at the same time it look a bit small.
you gotta keep in mind that the MP5 also isn't a particularly big gun IRL.
I played the original, but wasn't interested in it. But times flies, and now; I'm making my own HL2 Mod. And your guys work is very inspiring. Keep it up!
Also. I'm a sucker for music like HL2, DOOM. I center my own music around that sort of thing. One question i want to ask is. Who is composing EZ2's OST? I've seen the OST on YT but never got a name. It's got some really great ambient tracks. I like to keep tabs on composers for fan made HL Content.
Keep up your amazing work!
Spencer Baggett is technically our lead composer for the project, but myself and CW also like to make and mix tracks for the game. You can check out Spencer's work here: Youtube.com
Loved the original, can't wait to play the sequel, but do take all the time you need. Looks pretty nice so far! Cheers!
