Ah, okay, now I know why. Now you can no longer find the mod in the Anomaly section, but in the CoC, CoCR, CoM, CoTZ, Dead Air and AREA section.
I can't run the app it needs some .dll files. I'm the only one? xd
So I updated the mod today and I now know why this error occurs for some users. Download the latest release and make sure to install both VC Redistributables located in the 'redist' folder. Leave a comment or contact me if it fixed the error for you :D
Well i didn't install VC Redistributable and it works, Thanks for fast reply. There is a way for stop the app when do you close stalker?
Currently the application doesn't automatically stop when you close stalker. But I can try implementing the feature some day this week.

Do i have to put the dll file and the exe in the main game folder or the gamedata folder?
You can put the dll and exe files anywhere you want as long as they remain in the same folder.
heya the exe keeps crashing without any error or warning upon launch. im trying to use this because the rich discord presence for anomaly isnt working even on my fresh download. ive installed the scripts as normal in gamedata and the exe/dll are in the same folder.
I released a new update which should fix all errors. The problem was that I was retarded when I uploaded the last update. Please tell me if any errors occur for you 😅

"Found 'rpc4stalker.json', but something seems to be wrong with the file format."
I have installed both VC Redistributables and have also tried older versions of the addon.

Are you ingame? You need to load a save so it can run the script and dump the values. This error occurs when the program can't parse the contents of the file into the json format.
Yes. I have tried many saves and running the game with and without other addons. I am also getting the same error on clean install of the game.
Did you try starting Dead Air as administrator? Also try the same with rpc4stalker

Hmmm weird. I just tested it and everything is working fine for me (proof: Prnt.sc). Goto "C:\Users\[YOUR USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Temp" search for the file "rpc4stalker.json" and try to open it. Is it empty or filled with text?
I found out that error occurs when rpc4stalker.json is in Cyrillic ( Prnt.sc ) but everything is working in Latin ( Prnt.sc ). Now I am trying to figure out how to have the game in Russian and rpc4stalker in English. I also noticed that when rpc4stalker.json updates e.g. when changing location Discord and terminal do not update and display old information.
For performance I coded it so the data is updated every 30 seconds. Plus discord takes some time to update your status (~15 seconds maybe?). I will try fixing the bug with the cyrillic script some day this week, because I barely have any free time because of work. I will notify you when I am done :)

Can you replace the useless Health Status in Rich Presence, for an useful one like the map you are playing in? I don't see the point in showing how much Health you have in a specified momment, when probably is more interesting to know where are you now surviving...
I don't know about whose or what Rich Presence you are talking about, all I know it isn't mine. I'm not showing the health, because like you said, it's useless.

Do you use version +3.0.0? And could you also send me the contents of the file rpc4stalker.json in the temp folder when this error occurs?
yup, i'm using 3.0.1 version and i just noticed something while i was playing today. the addon seems to work fine but it breaks after sometime playing. i went from Army Warehouse to Truck Cemetery and then it didn't changed on Discord. I move to Dark Valley and it still didn't changed the status, it was stuck at Army Warehouse. I opened the .json file and it says that i was in Dark Valley (and it's right), but on Discord nothing has changed.

Wait, I see that you are probably not using version +3.0.0. I changed the error message which you showed me in the first screenshot with this version. rpc4stalker is not an .exe file anymore, it is now a .dll file.
actually i'm using it along with the lastest version but i start the addon through the .exe file. maybe is that the problem? do i need to open the stalker-coc.exe only without the rpc4stalker.exe?
Yeah you can delete the previous files of rpc4stalker. This includes the exe file. If you placed the rpc4stalker dll correctly it should start automatically when you open the game. If you have difficulties understanding the installation instructions which you can find in the description don't hesitate to ask me for help :D
can you tell me which files from the old version do i need to delete? and how to install the new version either? i thought i just needed to extract the files and place them inside stalker folder but it seems i was completely wrong :'D
The rpc4stalker.script in the gamedata folder, the rpc4stalker.exe and the discord_game_sdk.dll that should be in the same folder. For the installation this should help: Github.com

Changing the name of the status is more complicated than it sounds, I already looked into it. But tbh I don't know when I will continue the work on this project because I don't really feel motivated at the moment and in about a month I have my finals. Sorry
