The definitive gameplay enhancement mod for the GZDoom and Zandronum engines. Adds realistic gore, dismemberments, headshots, executions, lightning effects, particles, makes enemies smarter and harder, makes gun louder and beefier, and adds epic new boss battles.

This is a compilation with rock/metal remixes of doom's original songs composed by many community artists (See the credits for info about the authors). This goes great with Brutal Doom and enhance it's violent atmosphere even more. This music pack aims to create a Metal experience. Every original midi song of the game has been replaced by remakes using real instruments.
Volume 5 improves the quality of some of the existing songs, adds new ones, and now features the songs of Final Doom TNT.

Plutonia re-uses the doom 2 soundtrack (track order is just different), so it's already been done technically. However if someone made an original soundtrack for plutonia for a future version of Doom metal, that would be great. I'd like to see Freedoom phase 1 and 2 get a music remake for doom metal in the future as well.
Hey guys, I have an issue: intermission from DOOM soundtrack ("Victory" ), as well as TNT intermission one ("Legions of the Lost") don't play for some reason I don't know (both of them plays vanilla intermission soundtrack instead); however, the rest plays admirably.

Could you resample all the tracks to 44.1 kHz? Some are 32 kHz and they play wrong (with clicks) in e.g. Crispy Doom.
Replaced those tracks, here is the fixed edition Moddb.com
Derp. How do you use this?
Write a BAT-file gzdoom.exe -file brutalv21.pk3 DoomMetalVol5.pk3 *any other add-ons you use*
Get ZDL (ZDoom Launcher) and include it in your load order.
You can also enable file check marks, check both brutal doom and doom metal, and drag them to GZDoom
Guys help me, how can i listen those masterpieces on Doom 2? I've already tried to extract the folder on Doom 2, but the songs doesn't starts ;C
Hello Sarge,
I have a question: which file contains the definition of music lump name replacements for Doom Metal Vol.5 in Plutonia and TNT?
I see D_RUNNIN is replaced by D_SADIST, D_STALKS by D_BURN, and D_COUNTD by D_AIM. Which script defines this?
Now I see, it's in DYNAMICLEV.txt.
It contains no replacements of music for Plutonia, is that a bug?
Can you make mp3 version for listening?

Issue with this little mod is that I think it gets copyrighted on YouTube.

Hello, does this work with Brutal Doom 64? If so, how do I install it?
Gonna be brutally honest on this one : it sounds like garbage. No, not the music (which is great), the HEAVILY compressed files. Such a shame.
We talkin dynamic range compression, ****** low bitrate files or both?
The E2 M2 music won't start in game
Kinda disappointed by Doom E1M1 (At hell's gate). There are way better ones available, for example:

Did you find a solution for this? The intermission from the DOOM 2 soundtrack also changes to the one from DOOM 1.
