Links to the steam workshop download and our discord can be found in the description! Awakening of the Rebellion is a total overhaul of Forces of Corruption. Inspired by the old RTS Star Wars: Rebellion, AotR brings many features from this game and other titles such as a more in-depth mission system, tech system, and many new units! Immerse yourself in the Galactic Civil War era as the fledgling Rebellion, the oppressive Empire, or the criminal Black Sun pirates. This mod is not for the feint of heart and will test your RTS skills with a completely overhauled AI and difficulty. Versions newer than 2.6 can be found on the steam workshop only (due to issues with the non-steam versions)
A map a day keeps the designer at play! The Yaga Minor map is something special to me, as it is my first map from scratch built for galactic conquest. From paper design, to blockout, and now nearing its completion with a final art sweep this map has been my first real hard adventure into level design. The original intent behind this map is that, much like in-universe Yaga Minor, it is an Imperial fortress world with mainly lush forests and mountains as its primary terrain. With mutliple infantry and water based routes, even the mightiest of Imperial fortresses can fall to a well-executed plan. I think that the map is setting up to be a fantastic new experience for everyone and I hope it will push EaW and AotR's land combat to its highest potential.
For those of you that have been following this mod closely, you will know that this is the map featured on my Youtube channel in my series Building a Level from Scratch. I plan to do one or two more videos detailing the journey behind this level.
Enjoy the sneak peak, and as always, comments and suggestions are always encouraged and appreciated!
Looking good! As for the fortress parts, have you considered adding more wall structures to build more of a "fortress" feel to the map? Otherwise I'd say fantastic work there bud.
Yeah the fortress area is still under construction as is the background of the level.
I love it, it looks amazing!
But why didn't you complete this on your build a map series.
There will be one more video for that series, which will showcase the iteration done on the level up to the final product.
Thanks bullet, love your work! I hope you revive your let's play series after 2.6 final.
This is the best EAW map I've seen and i thoroughly enjoyed your build a map series.
This is really nice
Hmm... intriguing. keep it up, Bullet!
