It is the year 1973. The world repels the deployment of Yuri's Psychic Dominator network. To counter their efforts, Yuri's secret moon base decided to turn the most fearful force into a weapon: gravity. However, they did not expect the gravity distortions their experiments caused to be picked up by an outside force...
The Freedom Confederates have been returned!
You might see that the Freedom Tank - the heavy tank - has a special marker on it (reusing the Tiberian Sun veterancy pip). That means said tank has already picked up 2 salvage upgrades - usually burning husks.
Picking up a husk with a Confederate vehicle will give said vehicle +20% firepower and +15% rate of fire. This logic is available for both the Looter and the Scavenger doctrine. At a later point, some units might also get their artwork tweaked to visibly distinguish their salvage level.
You will stop gaining additional benefits after 2 husks.
Who are the Freedom Confederates?
The Freedom Confederate is the Texas-originated resistance movement aiming to free the ex-United States after the Allies' retreat leading to the country's fall against the Oppressors basically.
The movement's key figures are Carmen Gel, a daughter of a dead 5-star general, as being the de facto leader and main strategist, Logan Rodgers, a MacGyverish mechanical engineer tinkering most of the technologies together from what they find and Gabriel Syme, a police inspector who maintains the supply flow and watches over the training programs.
The faction itself is pretty much a nod to RA3 Paradox.
Shouldn't you at least mention somewhere that Spiderman_2099/Macrophage made these?
Any plans on rework the grass? The tiles are too noisy for background detail, and looping is very obvious.
Sorry, I didn't noticed this post. The grass was due to the fact this map was made before OpenRA restored TS/RA2 random tiles support, and thereby it stayed static. This map has been axed since. The terrain itself was fine.
