Alpha Project is a Battlefield 2 modification which goals are to bring back all the features that were left out in the retail game. The gameplay style of the mod is a mixture of arcade and realism.
additional tweaks on dropkits by Hjid
->added dynamic shadows
->rotated fall down position
Sieht gut aus.
How possible is it to make the weapons only replace their appropriate weapon slots? And to switch kits you have to take the kit ON a soldier(that soldiers body).
Impossible with the bf2 engine, thats for sure hardcoded
I hate it when devs hardcode things like this. Had too many such situations modding Company of Heroes.
So I guess it's impossible to keep a helmet on an incapacited player without having to change the .exe then? (which is impossible, or atleast illegal to do so if it is possible)
No, you don't need to change it, but you need to remodel the soldiers and the kits.
Me Gusta
Wow! I thought it was going to be hard to make shadows for it! I didn't even bother asking cause I didn't think it was worth it! Great job!
Actualy its simple, you only need to add a line to the model tweak file and you got dynamic shadows :)
Woah shadows! Lol i completely forgot about those haha
delicous!
Epic [Again].
Epic:)Do you want a new combo?
Epic.

This rifle levitate?
Это просто модели оружия вместо сумок ? или вы сделали как в вступительном ролике dice где автоматы падали на землю из рук(имели мобильную физику)
OMFG, Hovering M16 O_o
Its not hovering, its just on a slope.
lets contiune our epic word
didnt you use the same concept of the gun sitting by itself on you christmas hill map?
However the ^^ epic ^^ difference here is after they are dropped, they don't simply spawn at soldiers feet, they actually look like they fall out of the soldier, and when you pick it up, you can see your gun fall down. With Pickup kits, this method worked great, but with actual kits for some reason there were many problems that involved using weapons, or even bundles exported as weapons. Soldier collisions, i don't even want to go there again... Python was needed to spawn weapons as actual kits, but that's Hjids work. It turned out great though!
Not sure if it's possible, but you could add mass to it so gravity works :)
EPICLY COOLLLLL
