Ages of the Federation is a new total conversion mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion. This mod takes place in the Enterprise and Original series eras, focusing on the conflict between the early Federation and Klingon Empire. A resurgent Romulan Star Empire, angry and still licking its wounds after their defeat to Earth and her allies waits in the shadows, ready to take advantage of any of misstep by either the warring powers. The Xindi, new to the galactic stage are also eager to forge their own path.
USS Australia arrives at the planet Risa just in time for a natural and culturally significant event - a total eclipse occuring once every generation, celebrated by the Risans as symbolic of a rejuvenated new beginning.
The debauchery experienced by the Australia's away teams soon becomes the stuff of legends.

XO's personal log, Stardate 2249.05: While visiting Risa, a merchant convinced me to purchase a wooden statue called a Horga'hn. The smile he gave me when I agreed should have clued me in. I thought it was just a tourist trinket, but soon found out its real purpose from the two most gorgeous women I've ever seen from any planet. Something called Jamaharon. Holy *redacted*... Many of the crew I beamed back up with were carrying their own Horga'hn. Even our new Vulcan navigation officer had one *chuckles*. It's a safe bet Risa will soon become one of the most popular destinations for shore leave in Starfleet.
The captain's been suffering from a lot of stress dealing with tensions on the Klingon border lately. I haven't seen her like this since the war. She's scheduled to beam down in the next group. I'll give her my Horga'hn with some BS excuse about displaying one being a sign of respect to the locals. I'm sure she's never visited before. She'll fall for it.
