-optional file to reduce build times by an average of about 40-50%.
-optional file to increase events that open access up to higher tier units.
-fixed a few clerical errors such as Serbian light spear.
-fixed a few graphical issues I found on merc captains.
-Also please provide feedback on the new City and Castle textures.
Hey I just started testing something with England, it seems that you can't upgrade castles to fortresses? I edited descr_events a bit because I wanted to have access to all to more units from the start but I still can't get that to work.
Any way you can help out?

Find export_descr_buildings in the data file.
find this line of code "fortress castle requires factions { northern_european, middle_eastern, mesoamerican, eastern_european, greek, southern_european, } and building_present_min_level stonemason sitehut and event_counter battle_hattin 1"
change to "fortress castle requires factions { northern_european, middle_eastern, mesoamerican, eastern_european, greek, southern_european, }
Do same for citadel

I assume it would be too time-consuming to somehow unlock all units at the start of the campaign?
Yea, I just released them at a much faster pace if you apply the file in the patch. I would have to change building recruitment as well as a few other files so...
So sorry if I'm bothering you with these questions but:
I'm comparing the original file and the much faster pace file from the patch and I can see that you lowered the values of some things but English Archers still remain at "date 22 28". I understand that "date 1" means that the event will happen after 6 turns but even after setting English Archers to "date 1" the event happens but I don't unlock any new archers even after upgrading to a citadel with all buildings constructed.
I'm not really sure what I'm missing or maybe this is all a bit beyond my "modding" capabilities. :D

I am a little confused by the instructions. so if i download the current full version of the mod and the 1.1 patch i do not need 1.0 patch at all? 1.0 is incorporated into the current full version?

Problems ..
1- Great Seljuks ''yazd'' city bug. not clickable
2- the small map country colors are not heartwarming. looks dark. Looks like 2nd grade material. like made in china
3- the country's economy should be like "vanilla". economy is not fluid, it slows the game
4- cutscenes and menu images are faded. looks simple
1) That is supposed to be like that to help offset the settlement limitations so I converted Yazd and a few other cities to settlements/forts to give the appearance of the city with income benefits. It's actually pretty cool.
2) Please tell me how this is any different than any other mod
3) Economy is not for everyone and is always a wip....
4) They are from SS, everyone seems to like them over there
