For some reason when I want to play at Endor my game crashes
I need to find them back from my external hard drive
my message looks buggy bcs I pasted it on my notes but I think I did it wrong
God and bad news ahead: There's a modified XIIIPLUS.U file made by locke that bring those messages back! default pawns are called "Someone" others have names (they cut it way late). You'll see em more in spads involved missions, some pawns or character doesn't have a name (example ". killed xiii"). Bad news. We don't known how to bring back "le cheins" or dogs. Default characters uses "basesoldiers" specials characters (like cinematic ones) uses "CINE01" archetype but an special pawn controller for dogs couldn't be found anywhere. In my opinion, Ubisoft removed it way back 2002 (pre june 2002 IMO) to evade any controversial thing about shooting a dog.
To play with the "special messages after death" or BETA HUD (which is kind of buggy) the user (the reader of this chunk of text) needs to update the game using the last insidexiii patch available on it's discord. I think I can paste it here after ending this message.

* Visuals: Screen resolution
Added widescreen screen resolutions to the video menu. Be aware they are hardcoded and don't necessarily represent the actual working options for your system. I recommend to keep it in sync with your native setting. If you miss a specific resolution, let me know!
* Visuals: FOV and HUD view adjustment
Added automatic FOV calculation according to values listed on PCGamingWiki, e.g. a 4:3 aspect ratio gets a FOV of 85. 16:9 will have 101.40 and so on
Added different weapon view offsets depending on FOV (so they don't happen to occupy half of the screen in a bad case)
***About bManualFOV***
after disabling it you'll get access to the command DEBUGWVO which let you allign the gun model from your screen fov. sniper way to big? you may move it a little far away to get more space on screen. for this you must have a numpad (I think you can change the controls somewhere but can't remember) pressing the num 0 saves everything. Sad thing is in dual weapons only the right hand will be modified, while the other will be stick in default.

Be not afraid. I just "cancelled" it to pause it somehow. XIII is part of my procrastination so I had to be tough to take a break from it. I'll still working on it but very slow. I intend to pay Old unreal scripters to create a better experience (if the engine let me do it)

I've thinking about it, perhaps a way to deactivate the alarms by shooting at them or something like the second snow spad level (hual2) where you destroy few generators, instead of a lot of them just one big (need to sketch how it could be). If you or any other reading this message has other idea, write your thoughts to share it with Locke (the code guy)

very very difficult, even when I did a lot of "strategic points" and "attack points" to make a dinamic battleground, dummies pawns will keep shooting standing to their death :( It needs a scripting patch or something but Locke, the guy who knows how to code in Unreal isn't around at the moment
