Don't join bandits if you hate them. It's harder to be a lonewolf in my opinion - your backup is your instincts.

I play in 3D.. so no crosshair - the best way to know in my own experience is to shoot at the air and make noise so they detect you.. then you check their reaction.. of course this has to be done in a safe distance. I'd consider being able to run fast. If you are carrying too much then rather avoid all contact at all costs, mind your own business and take the loot home!

I was forced to play in 2D after a while because of heavy stuttering and inability to snipe in 3D, it's only a partial fix. However if you use an assault weapon without scopes you will be fine. If you have 3D vision monitor then all I gotta say is that the world in COP+Misery mod in 3D is another level compare to 2D and more beautiful and much more intimidating.

I just finished the story in Stalker COP with Misery Mod and surprisingly enough I found it easier then when I played Vanilla.. I have a suspicion this is because Misery Mod trained me to be better prepared for the battlefield in the zone. I stayed in the Zone and now it's my virtual stalker home :) Thank you Misery Devs for an amazing Misery Mod and I can't wait for updates to see what you cook-up. It's official.. Misery Mod + Stalker COP is my goty 2013, thank you again and again. I'll share a personal note for the Devs.. I was a victim of child abuse in 1986 on the day of the Chernobyl disaster and this is why Stalker means a lot to me.. with a bonus of it being a really amazing game. Also 2013 is an important year as my Therapy on my child abuse experience concluded and Misery Mod made it a special year too. God Bless you all Stalkers.

Also I'd like to notice that Chimeras can attack through walls and sometimes warp through walls if they jump at a wall.. this is a problem but I bet it is a vanilla bug.

Well, well, well I encountered my first unbeatable Chimera at Kindergarden and there was 3 of them, killed 2 but the 3rd refused to die whatever I threw at it. Then the Poltergeists at Kindergarden kill you so fast that there is no challenge but punishment.. I gave this Mod a 9/10 and still consider that it deserves that rating however the Devs should consider challenging their fans then rather punishing them. This is my first complaint as throughout the whole game until Pripyat has been a challenging adventure and punishing but not as much as a Godlike Chimera and fast killing Poltergeists.

My sincere thoughts as I know what's like to lose progress and restart.. however I can't imagine restarting beyond Zaton, thank God... I hope that you will finish the Misery Mod nonetheless.

Holy Chimera.. what the heck lol never encountered any like that, but they are sure tough to kill but a direct nade at face will kill them.
