Great renderer. Silky smooth framerate and very simple installation. All the performance issues I had with the steam version of Unreal Gold and the unofficial patch have been fixed.
Thank you!

Hi, what are the differences in the difficulty levels? I'm playing on Unreal skill and everything seems to shred my health down pretty quick.
That's super awesome!
I'm really liking the mod so far. Your AI officers are much more efficient this time round and it's cool to see so many improvements made here. Well done!
One thing, what FOV is recommended as some of the weapon models have glitches with their stocks when aiming down the sights. This is at 1080p with both FOVs at 85+ and I've seen this with the Arwen launcher and MP5A4.
Thank you!
Sucks to hear that it's hardcoded into the engine. I'll keep track of this mod though in case I feel like firing up FC2 one day.
DO outposts still respawn AI guards? It's one of the main reasons why I haven't played FC2 again and can weapon animations/fov be set to vanilla?
I had a lot of fun playing this version of Uplink! I still find the combat in Source to be more enjoyable esp. with the ragdoll physics. Great mod!
The M4A1/SCAR Aimpoint sights and weapon models are bugged with the player holding it with one hand and no animations taking place. The default M4A1 sights are misaligned but other weapons like the MP5, Glock and shotgun have proper sights.
Also did the 1911 pistol get nerfed? I tried a few rounds on a Fairfax civie and around 8 rounds were needed to put them down. Even SWAT Ai seem more resilient now with them surviving an entire M4A1 magazine to the face.
Does this work for the mission packs?

I've really enjoyed this mod. The projectile based gunplay makes guns like the smg more viable and the combine soldiers are a real threat now. The only real drawback to the guns is that the shotgun seems to be less useful since in vanilla Half Life 2, it was useful against both zombies and Combine but now I have to resort to using the double shot to put them down.
I've also seen some issues with ghosting in the starting train ride of HL2:Update and Episode 1. There was also a bug in HL2:Update where Barney refused to accompany me to the Nexus Building unless I nudged him(it was mostly luck he got inside). The final battle in Episode 1 also has a bug where you're endlessly escorting the same two npcs over and over which I had to skip over unfortunately. Even some extra npcs spawned before that which was also weird. Otherwise, I didn't encounter anything else game-breaking except the occasional stutter when I quick save and some lighting effects have ghosting on them.
All in all, this is the best way to play Half Life 2 in 2019 and I can't wait to see more changes added to it.
