I'm not entirely sure, I have it on steam and it doesn't seem like I require any updates so I'm assuming 2.8.1.1.

My game keeps crashing. Is there a required DLC or something I'm missing?
Hey guys, love what you're doing with the mod. I just have a question for future updates, mostly cosmetic ones.
Firstly, do you guys plan on eventually getting better plate armor models for the units? I'm an avid medieval armor and weapons fan, and I think it'd be simply amazing if they had properly shaped breastplates, arm harnesses, etc.
Secondly, I would like to make a personal request, and ask if you could change the German factions cosmetics just a tad, seeing the way you guys present the German factions with tons of beards, fur pelt capes, and really strange looking sallets kinda kills it for me, especially when you keep in mind the Germans looked stylistically the same as most other western Europeans, and were even cultural and artistic innovators, such as the Gothic styles of architecture and armor. I could see what you do for the Germans fitting better with the Scandinavian factions, although even then, Mid to Late medieval Scandinavians adopted a lot of fashion styles of the continental Europeans.
Finally, I noticed there is almost a laughable number of sallets with their visors lifted up on the Burgundian and French knight models, like I was trying to see if I could find ones who had visors down. This ones just a little nitpick and isn't as important, but a constructive criticism nonetheless. Keep up the good work guys, other than what I just said, you're doing a really good job at bringing the Medieval Period alive!
Hey, just wondering as a matter of curiosity, do you plan on improving the models you're using for plate armor in the future?
They could be Stradoits. Just a thought.
Hey guys, I really like the mod, although I have to say something that's slightly off to me. I don't know if this a glitch or something else, but the new models of high and late period German units and some others are wearing the animal pelts that I think are in the base game of Attila. I don't think this is very historically accurate and it kind of clashes with the aesthetic.
Can you still play the combiner mod without whitescars, considering the fact that they've been archived now.
Are they intentionally using clone trooper rifles or are those just a place holder?
So, when's the killzone one gonna come out?
So I'm playing as Germany and I'm kinda having a hard time understanding why the officers in regiments are using neither swords or pistols and instead are using these tiny little knives that you see artillery crews use. Is this on purpose or is this a bug?
Am I the only one who is getting absolutely steamrolled by the French as Germany? The French are practically materializing stack after stack of soldiers with several artillery pieces at a time and I can barely afford enough money to make one full stack. In comparison to Germany I think France is waaaay overpowered, even on the easy setting. Will there be a fix for this?
Do you plan on ever adding characters such as Chaplain Grimaldus or High Marshall Helbrecht? I really like both characters and I particularly think Helbrecht could be a cool character to add
I prefer the old models, can you use the models from the vanilla game instead?
will there be carolean regiments?
Is this mostly a custom games mod or is this fleshed out fairly well in the campaign as well?
Also the hair texture of the the horses has a strange render distance
I do like the new look of the factions, but there a quite a few minor issues that are present now for the hyrule faction that wasn't present in the original textures, such as the sword positioning being awkward, the shoulder pads clipping with the rest of the armor and the textures of the armor being a little awkward, but other than that this new patch is really nice and it's a good step forward, if you could fix these minor issues then it'd be that much closer to perfect.
I think the wood elves act as the warhammer scotts and irish become they practice druidism like the celts and they fiercely defend their independence from the Brettonians, plus they have a lot of celtic fairy tale creatures like the fay as part of their army.
I am extremely excited for this mod, and i downloaded the alpha and i find it pretty good so far, just some better textures and more factions and it'd be perfect. please keep up the good work and may the Emperor guide you!
Is there a way to get the Titanium Wars mod to work with this? I tried this and it just ended up replacing the names with random letters and numbers and causing missing textures. I would really like Titanium Wars to work with this mod because it adds a lot of cool units to the vanilla races.
Whoops nevermind I figured it out, but when i try launching the mod it fails
I don't understand, I downloaded the combiner and all the mods listed and they are all in the DoW SS directory, yet none of them show up
And when I tried renaming it to another file like "americas" the game crashes, but only after i install the english voicemod. This mod is so broken, and as much as I adore the Warhammer universe, my love for it cannot take away the frustration I get just trying to get this thing working
Is it just me, or does this mod crash A LOT
okay, i did that, now the game shows up in a window on the upper left corner of the screen but i can't get it to full screen
I finished installing and it won't start and it comes up saying it can't find kingdoms.exe, my version of Medieval 2 is off of Steam, can someone help?
