First of all i hope this breaks no rules, i doubt it because of how little content this actually is but if this is doing anything horribly wrong please tell me and i shall remove it. It wasn't hard to create it took about 5 minutes. Ok this mod is simply an edited module file that allows you to play race mods together, those mods are required of course, so you should go download them and tell the creators of them how awesome they really are, links will be provided below. I don't know if this really classifies as a mod, but it is definitely convenient and i hope you guys enjoy it.
Note: The latest combiner mods are installers and do not require all the mods to work, you need only the ones you wish to use.
Additional mod for "Combiner 13":
Moddb.com Witch Hunters: Adepta Sororitas
Additional mods for "Combiner 18":
Moddb.com Adeptus Mechanicus Explorators
Moddb.com Blood Angels
Moddb.com Cadian Elites (barely playable, may be dead)
Forums.relicnews.com Craftworld Eldar (playable but possibly dead)
Moddb.com Thousand Sons
IMPORTANT: Please note that the latest Tyranid Mod is Incompatible with Black Templars, Please use Tyranid Mod v0.5b1 if you do not want to have UI issues when playing these races.
If you are using the older module combiners do need ALL the mods for then to work. Ignore this if you are going to use the new installer based ones which is recommended.
I'm working on a standalone patch, or an addon to the next release of the Combiner Mod, that allows for the soundtrack of Dawn of War 2 to be played alongisde that of the original Dawn of War 1 and its mods.
The original soundtrack of DoW2 vanilla was released for free some years ago and can still be downloaded here: Fileplanet.com
Although the complete soundtrack encompassing the game's expansions is now being sold from various online stores.
The soundtrack can also be extracted directly from the game's files. Some dudes did that, converted it in mp3 format and put it up for download:
Now, I've already managed to make this work on my PC, but what I'm trying to accomplish is to provide an easy - or possibly, automated - way to take the mp3 files downloaded from the above sites, convert them in DoW1's format, place them in DoW1's music folder, and have the game play them besides the original music tracks. I don't know how difficult it's going to be yet. Also, I'm pretty sure I cannot put the music files directly in any mod or downloadable package.
Anyway, what do you guys think? I know most people prefer DoW1's music, but I think at least some tracks from DoW2 are just awesome. My favourites are "No Mercy, No Respite" (Youtube.com) and "The Great Devourer" (Youtube.com).
This mod allows you to combine 4 other mods, each adding a new race to Dark Crusade, in order to have all the 4 factions playable in skirmish and multiplayer...
