For some reason, no maps installed in the demo's directory. Do I need to copy the maps from the Steam Version over to the demo's map folder?

Has anyone else gotten the problem where you can only look around in a certain range? I can only look 90 degrees to the right and about 45 to the left. I can't even look down at all.
