Despite the lack of updates this mod is still being heavily worked on almost daily. We have many great additions getting closer to being ready to show. The team is more active on the Remake Discord server.
This one went through some balance changes and is ending up a Gunship in a squad of 3. Will be deadly to fighters with concussion missiles and a hefty amount of LC.
Looks like you got all the ones I’ve been looking forward to for a while. Did notice the Victory 2 is missing some of the main turrets on the left side. Just an FYI I can fix that myself.
Are all the ships in the images in this release? Fantastic to see a new version waiting now to get home to download it.
That looks surprisingly good. Think I’d tone done a bit of the AFMK2 bits like the wings because it looks like the full ship with the engine section replaced by a standard dreadnaught. Something like that would make more sense for an AFM2 though because you can see a linear progression for it.
Did you do the quad turret or is that a retexturing of Warb’s? Looks very good along with the rest of the ship of course.

I am all for a release with unfinished content. If people don’t like the bugs they can keep to the older releases.

Very nice and the scale is very good on all of them matches Fractals. if you take your single barrel medium turbolaser (from the dreadnaught and Vindi) and make it a triple then you’d have those new axial triples on Fractals ISD WIP. Love those new triples and I realized the other day the details are near identicle to the single barrel.
Well now two seconds after posting on the last photo you fixed the dual laser cannon to look more Star Wars so they both can work.
Like the dual .50 cal mount type design but the smaller turret I think would look better as a starship AA turret.

It will take some know how to do it but I would guess wouldn’t take long. It’s impossible to make two separate mods that can just drop in the same folder and work together.
Per the new movie having the bridge anywhere visible in the hull is a bad idea. Needs to be like modern warships where most of the control is from deep within the ship.

Very nice and good thoughts for fighter and bomber balance. Proton bombs are a good idea.
I’ve since fixed the front turret code and got the other 60 XX-9’s to work on the Tector. Will post an updated photo when I get the chance. Think the NK-7’s in the trench look a little better though since they blend more.

Interdictor rigged by Sly with slight edits by me (added 12 more weapons hardpoints, different particles etc), model by Arvis.
Thrawn ISD also by Elratie. Front is Thrawn, middle is a standard one and the farthest one is the Tector. Engine glows frankly I have no idea where they are from, probably Jeroenimo, since this is my personal mod where I've thrown in everything from all over so there's several ISD engine particles in there (I've never touched the particle editor so found ones closest to the right size for me). I didn't use Jeroenimo's latest because I can't turn the graphics up high enough on my computer to get rid of the rings and when I adjust it it automatically adjusts it back down.
This is Elratie's Star Destroyer rigged by me with a lot of help from Sgt. Barlex. This is in Jeroenimo's RE mod and the turrets are from Nkorn's free released Victory SD pack for the XX-9's (by the YVAW team I believe) and the NK-7's by Doci. Bigger turrets are Jeroenimo's re scaled to fit the ship. Also in the background is Elratie's Tector and Arvis Interdictor rigged by Sly and slightly altered by me.
ISD has 60 XX-9 and 60 NK-7 plus 10 triples and the 8 heavy duals (two of those Ion cannons. Tector will have all turbolasers replacing the ion cannons and has 4 more triples but I messed up the coding a bit so it doesn't show them yet.
And yes my computer is a slug so it would probably look better on someone's rig who can actually turn up the graphics. Need to add a shadow mesh but I'm still learning as I go since this is the first model I've ever converted to EAW.

Only way ion cannons would make any sense is if they could do more damage than a comparably sized laser turret. Perhaps ion cannons offer less recoil or something. Also makes sense if you like to capture enemy vessels but in EAW ion cannons usually are worthless compared to lasers.
That would be good getting some models without code there’s plenty of guys who can figure it out. A free released model is what got me motivated to learn how to code them in.
