Hi, is there a reason none of my devices are allowed onto the information and feature page today but i could get there yesterday? I would have loved to have a nice overview of the mod, but epizy will lead me to InfinityFree, which in turn will just send me a 403 error, denying me access because its forbidden. Appearently due to the website configuration, InfinityFree says.

Edit, when i go to one of the content pages via the browser history, i instead get a 500 internal server error.

Probably not a huge shocker now, but the link on the 3.90 download to one of the content info pages also leads me into the same 500 error.

Your mod. Is beyond incredible. Something i have wanted in this game for years on end, seemingly impossible, now seeing somehow realised - that being civilian cities - is so amazing. I really love your qork, can not wait for the next update on your progress.

Also, poor ACU right there. These Pd do deal quite a decent amount of damage XD

Last thing, what buildings are that, cuz i dont recognize them all?
There are tons of houses, production facilities, some science stations, those triangular ones i just forgot the name of, a power generator, some Pd... but what is that thing in the very bottom right corner of the city? It does repeat too, but i dont recall what it is. I just dont.

This looks just amazing! -as does everything else here-

Do you plan to make stronger t3 gunships for all factions now or what? I would be on board with that (or have it be an antiair gunship like the aeon have, and give UEF and sera one too, and aeon a heavy guniship); or what is your plan behind this piece? :D

Maybe call it Catalyst? An expensive gunship that can overrun enemy defenses and maybe bombers, to prepare a massive land assault. Just had the idea when i saw it, i dont know if it would fit what you had in mind for this beauty.

Hey, i got one Question just out of curiosity; would it be possible to create a minimod that disables the construction of advanced titans - executor and the rebel one, i srsly dont know ist Name cuz i dont play them much - which would only leave sw factions titans more on-par with those of the vanilla races rather than being giving them ones that are way stronger.
Kuat could stil be the only exception to this as noone needs research to spawn in the executor from there - unlike when playing empire and rebels for which when you naturally want to build the titans you need the research.

I just personally think that thee bellator design is really really awesome, but i just dont use it so long, if at all, which is a shame, and this would allow for it to be used much longer.

As for the warlords, i do believe that even with this minimod active they both are distinct enough from the normal empire AND from each other as well. Especially since the factions themselves have no "research costs", and this minimod would be clearly aimed just towards more balancing.

That certainly proves that the world needs fixing, a lot of it appearently. I hope that you wont get in trouble with all these horrible laws and rules. Its just crazy.
And ofc. He is doing the best he can, but he didnt come back to us as he said; that is why i commented again: it surprised me (he never appeared like this was a thing to happen, he was always great in handling this mod and his life), and i simply asked whether or not everything is fine; if something like this happens, i actually start to worry. Call it for any reason, but i am generously worried if he is fine.

However, i see what you say about my words, thats why i am extremely careful at how i express myself; i do not want to hurt anyone, i do not mean it in any way, shape or form hurtingly, and i definetely do not intend to hate on anyone. I do excuse for doing so anyways.

Lastly, i wouldnt come back here and check from time to time, if i didnt care - i definetely do so. I would not have known of this "answer" to me if i didnt check here again today.

Again, i do apologize if i have been sounding and/or being rude, i did not want to be so.

(Also, sadly, yes i dont know how hard andtime-consuming modding truely is, especially since this here also incorporates moddeling new units, but i do know its a hard thing that does consume massive amounts of time - and i do have respect for that. And am incredibly thankful for the existence of the entire modding community, as we all should be.)

Just looking at the release dates, the latest interreg version came about in july 2018, the contest winner in dec 2017? Just asking, bcuz it confuses me a lil bit. I think last time i played it, i still saw the contest message for the time period in which Interregnum's lore takes place in rather than the actual Name for the winner; did this go by unnoticed? If it did, this is just me noticing it, and if it didnt, well i still noticed it in the last Version anyways.

Fantastic to play this mod again! One thing to note for everyone curious about it; for me several minimods work fine with this version:
-Doubled Fleet Supply and Capitalships
-Expanded Research
-Exploding Mines
-Infinite Research
-Max Starbase Upgrades
-non-Vasari Phase Gate
-More Tactical Slots

I assume that most other will work as well; obviously the no superweapons minimod is useless now.

I like how you called the hutts a minor faction 3 months before a dlc called minor factions came out xD Even tho they truely are; ist still that it almost seems that you knew it was coming xD
What makes me wonder, how will they be handled with the new dlc?
Also, just a guess but maybe the devs take Inspiration for their updates and dlcs from you? It just seems so heavily coincidental that whatever you wanna do, gets tried to be done by the devs - althought Outlaw sectors was questionable good.

well the law is designed to quite literally destroy everything that disrespects Copyrights here in the EU. Would it happen to come to action, all Providers of thigs - an example being YouTube - would be made responsible for the uploads rather than the uploaders themselves. In the case of YT, they would be sued for everything posted that is not bought Copyright for. which would cost too much money for yt to being able to provide it in europe at all. So sites like yt would shut down entirely or be sued for Incredible amounts of Money, OR they dont see that the Uploads are copyright-Breaking. which is likely, but not impossible.

However, i worry that moddb would also shut down for the EU just in case, just to Prevent These enormous sues against it. That is why i am asking. I fear this law. The consequences are… massive.

There are very few exceptions to this law, for whatever reason.

The Thing that should be used to search for the Copyright-Breaking stuff is a internet-filter (because Nothing else is humanly possible to search for everything that breaks Copyrights).

Hmmm, okay. Ich hab das hier eher inaktiv verfolgt (mehr gar nicht) und bin über die Fortschritte echt beeindruckt. Allerdings muss ich sagen, dass dein englisch nicht das beeindruckendste ist, es ist absolut verständlich, macht aber nicht den unbedingt besten ersteindruck mit der erläuterung am anfang - ich würde vielleich die ganze sache überarbeiten um einfach den Ersteindruck für Neueinsteiger zu verbessern, und es ist ja auch nicht viel. (Bitte versteh mich nicht falsch, ich will hier wirklich nur helfen das zu verbessern was ich kann, was leider nichts mit programmieren oder moddeling zu tun hat :/ )
DANN, sehe ich das richtig dass seit 2017 keine neue Version veröffentlicht wurde? Denn dann hätte ich noch die aktuelle, was gar nicht mal schlecht wäre. Trotzdem freue ich mich auf die neue Version, denn die neuen Modelle sehen wirklich vielversprechend aus (und dass sie AI-support bieten zeigt einfach, wie gut du (oder ihr, wenn du mit nem team arbeitest?) in dieser sache bist/seid). Aber die Zeit könnte auch darauf schließen lassen, dass du vielleicht von deinen ideen überrannt wirst? Ich mein das so: du hast ja selbst gesagt, du hast unglaublich viele ideen (und sowohl orbital als auch die ELITE ACU sachen sind WIRKLICH interessant und hab ich bei noch NIEMANDEM in der Form gesehen), aber es scheint, als würde es kein ende geben. Ich mache mir dabei einfach zwei sorgen:
1. Die Entwicklung könnte endlos sein, wenn du nicht aufhören kannst - aber ich glaube dass das tatsächlich nicht passieren wird. (Das sorgt aber auch für die lange zeit zwischen den updates, immer mehr und mehr...)
2. Es könnte ab einem Punt zu viele Einheiten geben, in dem Sinne, dass andere nicht zwangsläufig nutzlos, aber eher uninteressant werden. (Beispiel der SOOTHSAYER, das T3 Aufklärungsgebäude der Cybrans (mit nahezu 0 hitpoints und armor, welches durch jedes abstürzende flugzeug zerstört wird xD) welches ja eher durch die wachposten? ersetzt werden können, die auch noch (leichte) verteidigung besitzen.) Zudem nimmt das ja auch die einzigartigkeit dieses Cybran-only-Gebäudes raus... (NUR als bedenken)
3. Ich hab das Gefühl, dass UEF bevorzugt wird - aber das kann ja durchaus nur wegen der vielen UEF bilder in der bilderauswahl oben auf der MODDB seite so erscheinen.

Im allgemeinen bin ic wirklich beeindruckt und blicke der neuen Version und den ganzen minimods sehr positiv entgegen, hab aber auch gewisse bedenken. Ich hoffe dass du mit deinen ganzen privaten geschichten klarkommst und das ganze schaffst. Überarbeite dich nicht mit all deinen ideen! Und viel erfolg mit diesem projekt! (Ich hoffe persönlich am meisten auf die generelle; acu; und orbital mods)

sadly, this doesnt fix the crash issue, and it wont give me a report About it either. it will just crash and throw me back to steam.

I dont know if you are - after all that time of development of the new version - aware of the fact that Isards titans final ability to reveal all planets in the galaxy doesnt work. It doesnt seem to have any effect.

Also, i need to play this mod in the opt-in beta 1.94 version, due to the 1.92 version being weirdly bugged: if i open the options menu, the game crashes. Happens with all versions but the current release- and beta- versions. Whyever that is. Can you give me advise on how to avoid this?

That is the thing, why i asked you in the first place, the SotF/FoK Moddb pages havent seen Zombie in -exaggerated speaking - ages. So it is believed the mod is dead. I really hoped it wasnt, and now you gave me some hope. Still, the entire page is empty of Zombie, since a long time. Which is confusing?
But you certainly made me hope there, thank you a lot for telling that he is still into modding - and much more importantly, still alive at all!

Also, might i guess that the difficulties connect to the fact that minor factions have all their own home planet, which causes the mod to place home planets (boni, hero summoning structures, frigate factories) where the minor factions would spawn if the mod wasnt active? I had the "Vasari Remnants" with their titan factory, meaning as if that was a VIR player.

i inspect this page almost daily by now, ahhhh it gets so exciting! Im hyped, and for this instance hype will pay off; he mod has Always been, is, and will continue to be my favorite of them all - i cant wait much longerrrrr! But like with anno 1800, i will have patience like everyone else, dont worry.

But a question - notabout this mod in particular - i do have, that is, do you have any idea if sins of the fallen/fall of kobol is still continued? As that is another personal favorite of mine i would like to see updated to work again at least.

But other than that, this mod will always stay one of the best out there, and i would be devastated if it died. But i doubt with you and your Team it will do so any time soon. I love this mod.

Even more bugs here for you, at least one cant be intentional, the other one just seems very… weird. They both deal with pirates, one with the Raiders and one with the loyalist´s factions Illustria Titan.

First about the raider thingy. They colonize worlds during their raids (okay, neat), and spawn some buildings and units on captured planets. Also cool. But is it intentional that these buildings can MOVE? In the case of the defense platforms, it seems interesting, and they actually keep their ability to shoot. But factories/broadcast centers that move around? I found out about this when i captured one of these structures with the Trade Alliance Cygnus Battlecruiser (WHICH, BTW, CAN CAPTURE DREADNOUGHT FACILITIES THAT BUILD OTHER FACTIONS DREADNOUGHTS!). These structures also loose their normal abilities (Building ships/spreading culture). Here comes the question in mind, are they treated like ship-entities because they are spawned rather than built?

The same game has also shown me that the buildings on these pirate planets can be pushed around by sending ships through them; they would just move the buildings (including that pirate base building that gets spawned for whatever reason, looks like the pirate base planet (just with less colour) and has the size of a starbase) out of their way if they got a move order that would require them to fly through the structures.

Second, and i dont see where this can be intended, is a bug with the Illustria titan´s abilities "Hijack" and "Pirate Panic". "Hijack" actually has 2 bugs, one lesser however. The worse bug is the following:
When leveling Pirate Panic, it enables Hijack, and vice versa. This is more than annoying, believe me. You cant really see what you get from the next Level of the ability, as you level another ability than advertised. This certainly needs fixing for the next release. It can be played, but you need some patience because you will fall for it at SOME point.

The lesser bug about Hijack is that it is called different when it is active and you have to deactivate it. So basically you activate Hijack but deactivate the same Thing just it got another name for the time it was active. Just a bit immersion breaking, but not at all as game-confusing as the previous one.

A question about one of the pirate starbases abilities, the stun field - do the pirates use 5th and 6th order technology as described in its tooltip?

Now, to some general not-bug-related-feedback.
The mod is incredible. Otherwise i might not have taken the time for all my comments, but i wish the best for this mod and the people (the single person?) behind it. And i wish everyone else to enjoy it as much as possibly possible too.

My Feedback:

-Norlamin are fun to play, but rebels can get slightly op at lower difficulties (while im STILL not capable of more difficult Things :( )
-Normal races generally feel weaker than your new added ones, they probably should get some buffs
-The planets feel destinct from one another and their unique design makes the galaxy feel much more alive, which is great in this game!
-New races are destinct from each other and the core ones, however they have one thing they are all equal in, starbases. These are all the same, which doesnt feel all too well. (Besides design obviously)
-Every design is brilliantly done and looks stunning, really helping the immersion.
-Having one Trade Alliance player in-game can cause lags and projectiles not being rendered anymore due to the excessive use of fighters. Please consider emstrengthening their weps and armor mainly rather than giving them more squadrons/fighter per Squad. Performance issues are there and lags can take seconds.
-The background of the build-cons the pirates use has the same colour when you can/cant build something and its therefore different to tell if you can or cant do so. Maybe just change that colour to a slightly brighter tone so it can be easier differentiated between the things you an and cannot build. Just an idea to make them slightly more user-friendly.

So yeah, i have excessive fun with this mod, i had it in the past and look forwards to its future!

Bug report!

When Trader alliance rebel Dreadnough is missing enough antimatter to use the ability, the string for the overcharge (or whatever its 2nd ability is called) is missing. This also happens whenever the ability gets used, until it turned off.

I think there is a folder in the downloaded zip that is called "galaxy forge"; just extract that one, open it, and execute the .exe file. Its the normal galaxy forge, just with all of maelstrom's features. Hope this could help at least at this part.

Just keep on checking all your ongoing battles every second :D keeps the whole thing interesting. 3 battles at once on 3 sides of the galaxy? Sure, just be everywhere at once! Makes it intense, gives a great feeling and actually gives kinda speed to a more slower game.
And the fact that the ability doesnt reduce the damage your ships do to the target of the ability, which would actually be a much larger downside (maybe add that too, just to have something that can really influence the game if you got a player who watches every battle every second), is neat, as it yet allows you to just go to the battle and tell your ships to destroy your disabled target with full damage.

I have found an exploit that is not the most fun i'd say - it makes me wonder of how powerful the norlamin are. They do not have weapon reasearch. At all. But if they can reasearch pver 80% of their research for FREE, that doesnt seem like a bad thing. That is like giving them free everything.

Just get 2 moons/asteroids, one or two ice/volcanics, and you are good to go. Build 7 civil research and 8 military research facilities, go for the research cost reduction tree in the civil main tree. Then go for the very tiny one in the military tree that gives some other small goodies. (Cannt recall their names)
And then just get the 3 6k gold core cost researchs.

Civics tree cost discount: 60%
Military tree discount: 15% or 10%
High expensive military, defensive and civil research that give research cost discount: 30% in total.

This makes it so that ALL the norlamins research in the future will not cost ANYTHING AT ALL, and it will race at a speed the other races cant keep up with. This is a very easy, maybe expensive, but early to achieve exploit, even if you get attacked early. It allows you to just do everything you want. And all your ressources will go to your new ships. Which you will have a lot of all of a sudden when you can do everything else for free.
